Black Bud Tips

Any info on black material at the tips of buds? Looks to be the outside of some calyx... the temps at night are dropping to 5C or 40F

5 deg C is way too cold for Cannibus.

Can you cover them at night to protect them from the cold? I'm assuming an outdoor grow. You gotta get these ladies thru another few weeks. If they are in pots, get a hand truck and bring them indoors to finish up.

Yes, tonight and tomorrow could go to 2C so im going to try to place a bed sheet over them(doubt itll cover them completely theyre trees). One potted is going into a shed or something

We are beginning to get chilly nights, too. I have a Liberty Haze at about the same point in flowering as you. It is turning pink/purple exactly like in your pictures. I think it is the pistils' anthocyanin expression from the cool fall weather.
