Thanks, Buzz. The foil stuff is there to stop light from getting into the roots. I got a weird biofilm on the water surface of these plants when I left them off. Never had it before or since.

They're perfectly normal indica leaves. Your perspective is off!

LOL, I have seen some big Indica leaves, but nothing like the 4 biggest fan leaves I have left on my NL. I have kept them on there in hopes they will get even bigger....but they will be coming off in a couple weeks regardless. Will be great leaves to dry press out for my table top.
