Borealis Basin Autos - With Phobos

Day (22)
Progress has been steady, with Candy Cane auto.
Her natural shape was asking to be bowl trained.;)
I have a feeling she will be a very slow grower. 100+ days for sure.

The Ogres auto are about to be shown the spotlight.
Their substantial growth has been overtaking Candy Cane by leaps and bounds.
I expect monstrous things from them.

Day (23)
Rearranging plants, and lights.
I removed all but my 600w VS light.
Then added the 300w VS to the left side of the tent.

Somewhere on here that I can't place, I read.
That a light ratio of (2-1 blue-red) for veg, and (2-1 red-blue) for flower.
Is recommended when using led.

:nomo:
The 600w has Veg and Flower switches. Each side gets one switch, one driver, and one fan.
Meaning if only one side is on, one side of the lights get no cooling...
I rewired it so that both cooling fans draw power from one driver, and one switch.

:hmmmm:
Spared no expense and used heat shrink like it was store bought.
:D
Only the veg lights are connected to the other driver.
Once everyone starts flowering I will swap it over the the other lights.
It is a pain to take it apart that often, but the heat sinks and fans need to be cleaned periodically.
I will eventually add a veg/flower selector switch in place of on of the current switches.

:reading420magazine:
I prefer not to have both sides on at the same time. :peace:
It produces to much heat, and isn't the right balance of light for either veg or flower.
Having the 300w added balances the aforementioned ratio.;)
While keeping the tent cooler than having just the 600w going full blast.

:surf:
That gives me the same amount of leds being on, in the best ratio.
With 3 heatsinks being cooled by their own 12cm fans.
:Namaste:Forgive me if any of this makes little to no sense.
Here is some spam.

Healthy looking plants, here to watch them bloom.

:passitleft::welcome::passitleft:
Stay tuned for the Ogres to flower.
Once they do, they will be starting off my Seedsman sponsored thread.
:adore:

The Blue Dream'Matic, will be showcased in The Vaults comparison thread as well.
Sponsor participation is the best. I am not able to properly describe how cool it is.
:ganjamon:
My grow is perpetual, and only contains auto-flowering plants.
I have staggered the planting times, to where I should be harvesting every month.
I am just now starting back up, after a brief hiatus.

Recently due to contamination, I shut my operation down and quarantined my supplies.
An infestation of thrips was causing dramatic damage. They are very difficult to treat.
So extreme measures were taken.:cough:

I considered it, but most of em were staying in the soil.;)
I rarely saw them on leaves and such.o_O
All my current soil has been treated with beneficial nematodes. :p
If I ever see any other bad bugs, the lady bugs will be on order from Amazon.
Cost wasn't the issue. ;)
Having more bugs than my tent could handle, befuddled me.

Day (24)
I spent a few moments to count my Candy colas.
Nine, which is funny since most of the fan leaves now are nines.

Pterostychus you keep foretelling things. :passitleft:
I started the day counter over at the two week mark.
It's really day 38, and she is starting to take off.
Your Blue Mazar @40 days was right on.:ganjamon:

And another thing!:smokin:
I have made slight alterations to my light schedule, which is 20/4.
The 4 hours of off, is always during the hottest part of the day in my area.
I added a secondary light timer to my 300w led.
It comes on 6 hours after the 600w led.
Shuts down after 12 hours, then only the 600w for the last 2 hours.
To help mitigate heat and save a bit of energy. :bong:

Also, it simulates an actual summer day. :surf:
I think, :hmmmm:.

Sweet! :yummy:

Are you adjusting your photos, or does the light really look that blue in person?
:passitleft:

:Namaste:
I have been optimizing the settings on my camera.
Just exposure, and white balance. No color enhancements.
Legit blue lights. The VEG mode on my 600w led is white/blue leds.

:high-five:
The other 300w has the full spectrum of blurple going all the time.
It is just on a different timer and wasn't on during those last photos.
Once eveyone is flowering ill be changing it to Flower mode.
Which is mostly red and uv/ir leds.
