Brad Pitt and John Legend are high on one thing: President Barack Obama's decision to not go jail-crazy over pot users.

The two are executive producers on the documentary The House I Live In, which takes a critical look at America's war on drugs, and they–along with fellow producers Danny Glover and Russell Simmons–are praising Obama for not making federal prosecution of recreational marijuana users in certain states a "top priority."

"President Obama should be commended for expressing the will of the people in Colorado and Washington," the producers said in a statement, calling out voter approval in those states to legalize pot sale and pot use.

"Our jails are overburdened with nonviolent drug users, too often serving harsher sentences than violent criminals," they added. "The president's statement reflects a saner and more sensible drug policy, and a step away from the decades-long failed war on drugs."

Looks like someone's very happy Obama's doobie policy isn't a doozy.
