Breeding For High CBD question

So I have a mother plant of a strain called Candida that I got lab tested and it tested at 15% CBD and 0.7 percent THC. I pollinated a clone of the Candida with a Nanda Devi Landrace sativa male with medium THC and unknown CBD.

My question to anyone who has experience with breeding is: Will these F1 offspring have some CBD and THC like a 1:1 ratio or will none have any CBD since it is a recessive trait?

And also what would my next step be if I want to create high CBD seeds?

Should I backcross these new seeds males back to the mother, and then start inbreeding the siblings up to F5 or so only using seeds from female plants that test high in CBD?

Should I just cube it and just backcross 3 or 4 times?

Been doing some reading but still could use some help from someone with experience.

Thanks

Only way to know is test the offspring

If you find the %/% you like then backcrossing will start stabilizing it

I Iove Candida, I've crossed it a few times

Good luck

Sorry, I don't follow that. Do you mean the testing kit works sometimes, but not other times?
Kinda

Have you looked at the kit?

U use chemicals, plates..IE, glass coated test plates, angle of the plate in a jar

Just lots of variables

Once you get it all dialed, it works pretty well

I'll be doing about 10 strains in a week or two, watch my thread
