Broken Main: What To Do?

I've been using LST. Did some light defoliating today and noticed the main stem on one of my plants is ripped open. What can I do to remedy this? Should I do anything or just let it be?

This is the best pic I could get.. You can't really tell here, but you can basically see right into the center of the stalk.

Wrap it up with duct tape, and let it be. She will be ok.
