sup buddy , i also am a first time hydro man , im a couple monthes ahead of you and will be glad to give you any help i can , question is that tub light proof ? my friend had me set him up a system but went out and got his tub that looked like yours and the lid allowed light threw and in a week i was fixing alge issues , also hydrgen peroxide is a awsome tool to avoid problems and the plants love it like crack i use 30 ml per gallon , anyways good luck man i will watch it with ya , mine are just going into flower as of yesterday so peak in if it turns out like my outdoor should have some nice buds
