the buds on one of my autos are taking forever to finish, they are not growing in size anymore as far as i can tell, and they look like they are ready (they are on schedule too) but there is still a lot of white hairs, they just seem to be taking to long to turn brown, should i wait or what?

Sounds like you could wait a bit longer but pics will help. How are the trichomes looking? Best way to check is get a jewellers loupe or pocket microscope and look at the trichomes.

If you've got a half decent camera on your phone that will be better than nothing. How old are the plants? I'd say if all the pistils are still white she won't be ready.

i know that, but my issue is that the buds don't seem to be gaining any size at all anymore, is it normal?

i've heard they can keep producing white hair if under light/heat stress, with is a possibility given that fems are harvested in a month or more here. and the Weather is still nice and hot

Looking at them they're close but could do with some more time. However I'm not experienced enough to say for sure without looking at the trichs up close. You can probably download a free camera app that will give you some half decent macro shots up close. Better than nothing.

is there no other way? i just have no access to a something that can zoom close enough like a jewlers scope or something like that... i plan on getting one in a month, broke af right now
are "hairs" not relaiable, and what do i risk if i wait too long?
I guarantee your pot will get you stoned either way but the longer you wait the more non motivating the pot will be and couch lock will ensue.But that may be what your looking for.
Not really. Not accurately at least. Should be able to pick up a loupe or pocket microscope really cheap online. Otherwise as I said before if you have a smart phone with a good camera or camera app that you can zoom in on the bud and take a macro shot. Should give a better idea than nothing. If you wait too long the THC will start to degrade and turn to CBN. So you'll get more of a couchlock. Too soon and it will be racy, short lived and can cause headaches.

Wait. You don’t want to harvest early unless you have to. Shoot for 20-30% amber trichomes.
