Orange, Conn. - Two people have been busted for possessing more than 13 pounds of what Orange police call "high grade" pot.

Orange Police and the Statewide narcotics Task Force arrested two people Thursday who police say tried to have the marijuana shipped to a freight company office.

Morgan McAndrews, 26, of New Haven was charged with multiple counts of drug possession and conspiracy. He was arraigned in Derby Superior Court Friday and held on $250,000 bond.

Also arrested was Victoria Ramos, 26, of Hamden. She was arraigned on similar charges and was held on a $100,000 bond.

According to police, an Orange patrol officer developed information about the drugs and contacted the narcotics task force. From there, authorities intercepted a package containing 13 1/2 pounds of marijuana that was headed for pickup at ABF Freight in Orange.

Police say the company was helpful in their investigation.
