CA215's Second Indoor Session

Everything is a legal grow for the girlfriend and myself, both card holders and patients in need of medicine, F*&^ pharmaceuticals & pricey mmj dispensaries. I could be growing a couple more girls as well but I feel being a couple under is always better. We just started attempting to grow our own buds and the first indoor grow was pretty nice getting some of that first homegrown, the outdoor is a whole other story, free light!!! it is awesome here in cali, we get some killer light and nice weather depending on location. Spot on about cali economy, getting a job is tough, seems you have to know somebody to get a decent job nowadays. Colorado sounds killer.. would push you to do indoor year round which personally wouldn't bother me maybe it would when I see the elec bill HA! Thanks for droppin in' mrbubbles!!

What is your legal limit if you don't mind me asking? And that's a LOT of meds for 2 ppl lol. This is our first grow also. Both more recreational but also some undiagnosed medical needs as well. My wife and I go through about an OZ per month but that's buying vs growing so I'm expecting 2 to 3oz per mo between the two of us.

As far as electricity it's not too bad actually. Mine costs me about $50 per month. Of course thats only the one light but my setup isn't very eco friendly. Still at that cost I could easily get a 400% return on my investment at black market rates in my area lol Im just growing for personal use tho. Right now we spend about $400 per month buying so I figure ill be saving $350 a month.

Are you still running an experiment? I forgot. Wasn't there 1 outdoor plant that you were not giving pHed water to?

Oh yes, it is so small I forget to mention her sometimes, the berry kush. She is doing well, a little on the yellowish side, the miracle grow might not be the best soil, but it's all I had around and this is why it is an experiment I added some coco as well into the MG mix, no nutes for this girl for a good while (will have to look at picture dates) so I may need to look into it. She has some nice fat bundles of pistil groups on the top sites and they are already getting frosty. Big betsy as well is getting pretty trichy early on.. Might be the lack of light they are getting, Berry Kush from being in the greenhouse underneath the sour boggle and blue dream, and big betsy getting a few hours of shaded light from the fence. I will get a picture or two of the berry kush here after this post

I believe per req you can posses "6 mature OR 12 immature plants and 8 oz. of dried processed marijuana." These guidelines do not specify what is what, so in my mind an argument can be made saying a few girls arent showing signs of sex yet so they are still considered immature? I currently have 9 flowering plants so 3 under 12 keeps me comfortable with what I read on CAnorml.cizom (highly suggest reading up on rules and regulations around your county). Another law, if i'm correct, is 8 oz. processed meds per person allowed, so anything under 16 oz is cool, and even if I did go over of course i'm still using it, BUDDDDER!!!!! Plus I am really shooting for a fat reserve of buds so I can, if money issues arise, cut off the indoor for abit and still have meds to fall back on. I am a heavy smoker in need of meds morning, day, and night to help with intense pain from countless accidents, indicas usually for the night time to keep my ass knocked out with that said I can smoke a lot of green but do try to ration and portion daily, if so I would try to smoke 3 grams which would be totally do able. I think growing your own meds is totally going to help in your favor money wise, after the initial start up costs I went through I am set, the only thing is running perpetual.. that's where you keep your reserve up and don't run out, i spend way too much of my cash on bud, really don;t want to calculate all that . Electricity wise I don't have a very good gauge on it as I run my AC a lot to keep it cool, but I would say somewhere between 70-100 a month for the 4x4 tent set up and everything running to it. I did the math during my first grow and it was around 75 if I recall. All in all I would rather keep growing my own buds then ever buy my stuff again!!

So it should be unknown plant, pineapple, then gsc. Everything is looking well, I just started feeding these girls with a 1/4 dose beastie blooms pH 6.5 and will do so for a couple weeks.

I've actually thought it might be worse living in a legal state right now because they regulate you. They know who's growing and how much. Colorado even tracks the plant from seed to harvest supposedly. Plus jts still federally illegal so now not only are you still in trouble for growing but they know exactly who's growing and where to find you.

Where I live your f*cked either way if your caught but no ones leaning over your shoulder either. I can grow as many as I want to risk and I don't have to report to anyone. Plus no one knows I'm growing. Obviously they could track me down via Internet or electrical bill or even my mail but it would be a lot harder then looking my name up on a list.

I'm all for legalization but hate the idea of the government regulating my garden. If I can brew beer in my garage without a permit or license why can't I grow weed in my garden? Lol

I still don't understand the laws fully, really don't agree with them either, like you said with the brewing beer in your garage, but the rules I can find I try and follow them to the t to keep that peace of mind. Wow, I never even knew about that in CO, seems a little creepy honestly, with the way it is today and our info being handed out like candy on halloween I wouldn't be surprised if we were already being watched, but who knows. I'm doing everything legal and follow guidelines that were set in place so we could have mmj, the feds busting micro growers is just pointless imo. Definitely have something better to be doing. But this is the world we live in!! think i've said this before, Canada sounds tempting every day Definitely some good points there mrbubbles

Here are some pictures of the berry kush clone that has been fed un pH'd water for a month+, she received about 1/8 monterey fish and poop per her 2 - 3 cups of water she got this morning the f&p really does lower pH pretty substantially, so we will see how she reacts with the change from unpH'd 7.8-8.0 water to the 7.1-7.2 pH dose today

And then here, I noticed a weird bug.. It is shaped almost like a bean but with a top that comes to a rounded peak, lime green in color and jumps like a crazy savage.. I keep finding these things poping up more and more.. And if you check the Berry kush above (4th picture from the top) you can actually see some of the white "dried slime" tracks on some of the leaves surfaces above the overlay date, now i'm noticing more on the Blue Dream..

and then I saw these!!

SOBS ARE ATTACKING ME ON BOTH FIELDS!!! Right at pistil time ahh! thinking about spraying a lighter dose neem oil spray tonight.. Any suggestions? Maybe a organic lower dose insecticide?

Thanks for the responses all! I feel so bad, I haven't even sprayed my girls yet, been so busy its been hard to find time, but tonight I have prepared for them a mighty wash spraying to try and combat these unknown bugs.. I can't seem to find a picture matching these sobs.. found a safer soap online that looks promising so contemplating ordering that as well. Got an array of pictures of the indoor buds, happy to say i'm seeing no more white flies for the time being (noticeably), but I swear I keep seeing something catching my eye in there, ill go and investigate, shake the plants and what not and I don't see it again.. been happening for the last two days, i think it's really messing with me, mfer.. i will kill that little white fly sooner or later

I have stopped nutrient feedings and have been feeding them every two days with 6.5 pH water including a couple teaspoons of molasses and half a teaspoon of ff beasty blooms. These nugs are getting rock hard and starting to expand in size, the one in front is staying smaller due to the distance from the light, but is starting to turn purple in hue and the smell is amazing, a diesel mixed with a fruity citrus lemony smell.. definitely the first contender for concentrates and edibles the pineapple smells like straight pineapple with a kick of raunchy skunk goodness, really enjoying this one. The gsc smells lighter than the most but I get hints of berry and a new shoe smell like the others did, might be some sort of phase they go through.. Or maybe my smell senses are crap, but they do smell wonderful. With the few issues i've had im still glad these turned out as good as they did

Harvest clean the hell out of the tent and the room and start sterile and some day maybe some day we will get a clean grow pest free, I have my share living in the country but mainly I deal with wasps they like that bright as Halide light. One word to sum everything up, BUSY! Man, I cannot get on 420mag as close to as much as I would like,. or tend to my plants for that matter! I forgot how hard it is juggling school with life.. Anyways, I snapped some decent yet minor blurry pictures yesterday morning of the indoor 4x4 still running at 450W, planning tonight to drop the time down another 30 minutes. I have gave the indoor girls a last feeding of a small amount of beastie blooms with blackstrap mollass, from here on out they will be receiving water and molasses for about a week, then a couple plain pH'd water flushes in the following week towards the end. These girls are plumping up daily and smelling super danky, really enjoying this second grow, although the one plant in front is almost a water of space, is it getting super trichy which is ensuring me some good concentrates and edibles, while the GSC and pineapple are going to be some danky ass fat colas! Can't wait, without further wait;

Although I will be a year older this weekend, I will try my hardest to get a fat intricate outdoor update for ya'll, love&respect.
