Can I use two kinds of light together?

Can I use two kinds of light together for growing?
For example, can I only ADD an LED/HPS to the already in use flourocent ones? Or is it too confusing for the plant?

I use hps and mh in veg then a lot more wattage in flower of red spectrums, in veg think bigger the spectrum the better. I don't know what u will gain but I don't think it will hurt

i see, but in my case the thing is i bought an LED now, and its blue and red while so far ive used cfl for veg.
its not about hps and mh..

LED's are pretty bright and work well. Young plants need to be away for the light.dont use heat on the back of the hand test for where light should be...Use Manufactorer's guide forwhat distance away from plants you want the light at.
Which light do you have and is it full spectrum or made for specifically flowering or veg?

Oh my bad man I thought u were asking if u could mix 2 types of lighting and only using the led/hps addition to CFls as an example

You can use both LED And CFL.
The CFL's though may block more LED light and it provides...that I dont really know.

You can mix any light with any other light, the plants do not care.
