Can you harvest small amounts instead of the whole plant?

I was wondering since it’s close to harvest time if I could cut off the colas that look like they are ready? It’s my first outdoor grow and the larger colas have about 25% amber in them but there are smaller ones that have about 50-60% amber throughout. Any suggestions for me?

a tonno amber friend,, a touch of amber might be more preferable indeed

yes,, you can harvest some now, some later

but with that much amber,,

chop now friend,, pls :thumb:

with all those white pistils I don't believe you are seeing the amber you think you are. The pictures I am seeing are NOT of a ripe plant. Are you maybe commenting on the color of the pistils overall, or are you looking through a loupe at the actual trichomes?
I’m eyeballing it. This is my first outdoor and 2nd grow so I don’t have magnifier to look through. I feel like most needs more time but there a few that are more amber lower on the branches. I was going to cut, dry and cure those but I wasn’t sure if I should wait for the larger colas.

Cool, thanks for the advise. I was hoping I didn’t have to wait until the larger colas full matured. Plus I want to get it ready to try out :smokin:
