Day 16
Today was watering day. I watered until I had a small amount of run off about 600 ml per plant. Tested the ph and it was between 6and7. I think it’s almost time to top the three back plants after the fourth node has grown a bit more. The front left plant got a bit too much water and is a little bit saggy. I turned down the humidity to run at about 40% to dry that one out for a day or two. I’ll just mist the other four plants a couple times a day to keep their humidity up.
All the plants seem to be thriving. The growth over the last 24 hours is amazing. I think I’ll be topping the largest trainwreck and one of the candy canes in the next day or two. The other three I’ll use some low stress training on.
I topped two of the three trainwreck plants last evening (in the front). The candy cane plants are so pretty I don’t want to hack them up. (Back left and middle) I think I will lst them and the other trainwreck.
Run off ph is five but the plants are healthy and growing like weeds. No sign of nutrient deficiencies but I believe one of them is a male. I attached a close up of the one I believe is male. Would appreciate it someone could confirm this. I’ll watch for deficiencies over the next couple days and might give them a little magnesium phosphate tomorrow or Sunday.
No idea what the ph is. The plants are all super healthy and all four of the females have multiple flower sights. I won’t be bothering with anything nutrient wise until they show signs of deficiencies. Did some leaf tucking on the topped plants and started low stress training the two that I didn’t top today. The male has been taken to a friends place and we are experimenting with a six and two light cycle and will probably keep some pollen if he continues to grow like he has been.
Day 30
All four plants are now flowering. No signs of deficiencies, ph of runoff is between six and seven. Adjusted my water supply to a ph of eight with ground up eggshells as my worm casting tea is a bit acidic from the peet moss. All in all things are progressing nicely.
Humidity and temp are perfect, ph is perfect. The topped trainwreck plants are way further ahead in flowering than the lst candy cane and trainwreck. I know from experience with pruning tomatoes it makes them produce more fruit because they think that they are under attack. Any advice for when to start on flowering nutrients? I have gone this far without any chemically derived nutrients but the plants are thriving and I would like to get the best yield possible.

Feeding with big bud organic and picked up a canfilter and fan to keep the smell under control.
I harvested two of the trainwreck plants last Saturday and the last trainwreck and candycane plant on Tuesday. I jarred the first harvest yesterday and the second harvest is still hanging in the drying box. I had to cut a hole in the box and put the carbon filter inside as the smell was absolutely out of this world. Next harvest I’ll know better and I don’t plan on growing more than one plant at a time from now on. Yield from the first two plants was just under four and a half ounces.
The total from those four tiny autos was 8.3 ounces. The trainwreck is a beautiful smoke with sativa effects. The candy cane is a beautiful blend of sweet and earthy. I’d grow both strains again.
