Cannabis Tissue Culturing

It's a unique idea and I could see a lure to large commercial growers needing a lot of plants at once but most of us are only small personal med growers. Also...speaking only for myself... I'm not ready to spend hundreds on kits and boxes etc. when one can clone for free by cutting a branch or two and placing them into a cup of water in the window sill. It just seems too complicated to me when using the KISS method works so well. Maybe others are more interested though.

I find it interesting for one reason. I know a couple of ex-growers who have ashtray's mounted in plant stumps that are still viable after decades, due to them drip feeding the stumps and rootballs with a sugar water solution.

These strains are long gone except for these stumps, which produce a few small leaves and branchlings from what's left of the bottom side branches.

If I had the knowledge,it would be an interesting experiment,to attempt and revive those old strains.
