Why just water the top 3 inches? Are you waiting for the bottoms to dry out? Looking forward to watching along... love the color at this point... the plants love that soil. :peace::love:
Happy to have you along for the grow Emilya. Yes I am trying to let the water line dry to the bottom of the fabric pot.

Hello! Day 27. Today the girls got a much over due feeding. They took about 3.5L collectively. 5ML cal mag+ 7ML grow big 7ML big bloom 0.25 tsp open sesame. Ph to 6.3. Hopefully they bounce back quickly. In the future if using fox farms nutes I think I will start feeding much sooner. Rh has been steady between 40%-45%. Temp have been steadily between 65°f-77°f. I moved my HLG to 25in at 25000 lux about 365 ppfd. If anyone has any suggestions on training or defloiating the bushy girl of the two please feel free to school me. Also anything that you think I've over looked I would love to hear about. Thanks to everyone who's loaned tips and suggestions to this point.
Peace&Love

Day 28. It's been 24hrs since the feeding given. The girls still are not looking great. I'm a newbie so I'm not really sure how long it normally takes to bounce back. Hopefully there on the way to lush green healthy girls.

Day 31. Today I fed 5ML calmag+, 14ML grow big, 14ML big bloom and 0.25 tsp open sesame ph to 6.3. They drank 1 gal collectively to about 2% runoff. I also did some light defoliation of anything touching the soil or not getting any light. The girls are looking pretty good, my only concern is the bushy girl is still having some spotting on leaves and yellowing. I'm not sure what the issues are I've been researching. It just seems like it could be a multitude of things.

Thank you! I will add some calmag with my next watering.

That should keep it from getting worse... the damage you see now will never repair, but the rest of that leaf should remain viable and able to contribute to the plant. Good early catch! Also note that once a plant shows it is a magnesium hog, it will remain so the rest of the grow. Commit to a maintenance dose of calmag from here on out with your regular nutes.

Thanks. I have taken note of everything said for sure. I will up the calmag+ for the remainder of the grow for the girl that is a hog. Thanks again.

Looking great. Calmag should help you out. Do you have a cheap 3in1 soil tester it is very handy to have. Gives you visual of where your water is at and better indication of correct time to water.

I do plan on upping the cal mag for the remainder of the grow. Also i do have a cheap 3-1 tester. I haven't given it much of a chance, as I thought it might be extremely inaccurate.

I really only use moisture setting. The ph meter is ok if working and the light meter is useless lol. But still one of the best weapons in your arsenal.

Hey mate looking good. I bought my 3-1 tester from Walmart for $3.99 and the moisture meter works great! Even just sticking the prongs in without a reading gives a good idea of the water level.. will suddenly be much tougher to push into the soil. The pH meter on my 3-1 doesn't work at all tho lol.
Hey happy to have you along with me on this. Thanks for the tip also.

Have you grown before? I was just curious how you felt about your light. I like what I've seen of the Rspec series. A friend just got 6 of the little QBoards... I think they are the 98s(?) Hes all stoked. Anyway, I think I'm gonna hang out. Anything to get away from my grow!

Very happy to have you joining me. I have had quiet a few successful runs all in dwc though. I want to slowly transition to TLO. I'm loving the light so far. Its extremely efficient and very powerful. All of my other experiences with lights have been either HPS or cheap blurples. So I'm loving the upgrade for sure.
