Carbon Filter as Inline Fan?

So i know i need a Carbon Filter odor scrubber, but my question is do i need an inline fan to exhaust the room or wood hooking up the tubing to exhaust of the Scrubber be good enough to keep the room ventilated or should i still get an exhaust system to get the air out of the room??

Ventilation is essential. I wouldn't take the easy way out. Do the most you can within your means and your plant will thank you for it. Also, what is your room and setup you're using? Pics?
