Caregiver?

Are there any legal or other requirements in order to be considered a caregiver?

A caregiver is generally for someone who cant take care of themselves and need someone else to go get it for them etc. It makes it legal for them to have it but not to smoke it.

Are there any legal or other requirements in order to be considered a caregiver?

In CA, a caregiver must provide assistance to the patient that is in addition to providing medical cannabis. Financial assistance, housing, transportation to the doctor, etc. Los Angeles County has a program whereby both caregiver and patient apply together. This program grants status on a year long basis, so you have to reapply every year and pay the fees (no surprise there).

Los Angeles county has figured a way to tax the medical cannabis community for sure.
