Carnivorous Plants For Pest Control

Just thought about it today and was wondering if anyone has tried using pitcher plants or Venus flytrap​s to get rid of pests? I haven't had any problems with pests yet but I'm thinking preemptively.

Lady bugs. ,predatory mites , nematodes only way to go...a little pricey up front but pays off on the backside...

Not a bad thought, but the issue is that some of the pests that get eaten by the carnivorous plants are not the same pests that would affect the grow.

Carniverous plants are fascinating in their own right. If you get a Venus Fly Trap, remember they are the opposite of cannabis and MUST have wet feet--their soil literally has to be soaking wet, just like back home in the Green Swamp, and they need tons of bright light!

This would be a great idea for my grow. I know i can easily get rid of annoying fungus gnats by pouring sand over my soil, but getting a pitcher plant would be so much cooler.
