CBDiesel The Next Adventure

CBDiesel is doing well I have been keeping a lower level of nutes in the reservoir.
The TDS between 400 and 500. Its growing some nice long branches.

Its grown noticeably in three days. CBDiesel is a sativa dominant strain.

I cut 12 clones off the CBDiesel plant Friday. Using a sterile razor I cut them and scraped the outer layer of skin
off the bottom 1/2" of the stalk and cut it at a 45 degree angle coated the last inch in Wilson's root gel and put them
in jiffy pellets that were soaked in 6.0 PH water. I made sure there was a node just above the 45 degree cut.
Their in a covered clear plastic container under a 45 watt LED panel.

Day three for the clones and they look very healthy. They have not wilted at all.
I took them out of the humidity container and wiped it dry inside this morning.

Day six today. No roots showing yet. Some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow a bit.
Should see roots soon.

Day ten today and still no roots. Some of the leaves are yellowing but the tops still look healthy.

Day thirteen and I see a few of them have root just coming through the mesh on the pellets.
Am I safe to put them in 2" mesh pots and put them in an Aero Garden with a weak nutrient solution?

Today was day 14 for the clones. 4 had grown roots. When I left the lid off the humidity chamber for several
hours the clones did not wilt so I am pretty sure they have roots.
The first couple to root.

I moved them into the Aero garden with a top I made that has 12 sites for 2" mesh pots. This will be their home
for the next few days. As soon as I see healthy growth I will pick out 8 and move them to the tent.

They look healthier today than yesterday. 9 of the 10 clones have roots.

I picked 8 of the clones that had the most roots and moved them to the DWC reservoirs last night.
I added 30 ml of Micro, bloom and Grow to 50 liters of water. the TDS is 240 and the PH is 5.5.
There are two 4" air stones in each of the reservoirs.

Its been 3 1/2 days since I moved them to the tent. I can see some growth happening already.
They are growing under a Mars Hydro Epistar 160 LED.
I have the lights about 4 feet above the plants twice as high as recommended. I will lower them over the next few days.
I am don't want to shock them.

I trimmed some of the leaves from the bottom of the plants. They are growing really fast.
I read that Sativa dominant strains should be topped at 2 and 5 weeks.
They will be 2 weeks in a few days. They should be topped soon I think.

I’ve never heard it expressed as time, the 2 and five thing with the topping. You top when she has five true nodes of five fingered leaves, and leave the bottom two. Or three. For fun. It’s up to you. You’ll need the extra length if you plan to clone the top for the next run, so you’d leave two. Or let her go to six true nodes, leave three and make a clone. You’re in charge. You got to grow to the plant though not the calander is what I’m saying

The leaves I trimmed were the yellow lower ones that were not too healthy.
The rate they are growing they should have 5 or 6 nodes soon.

I checked the PH and TDS yesterday the PH is 5.5 and the TDS is 500.
I can't believe how much they have grown in 17 days.

I trimmed some of the lower leaves that were not getting much light a couple days ago.
I drained and refilled the reservoirs and fed them last night. Today is one month since I put the clones in the reservoirs.

They are all between 12" and 15" tall now. I am going to switch them to a 12/12 light cycle soon
probably in the next two to four weeks.
Sativa dominant strains grow quite a bit after the light cycle is changed to flower.
Once they are done growing upward I should lollipop them or should I do it sooner?
