Change from CFL to LED if I've vegged with HPS?

Hey guys I was woundering would it be ok to change fRom hps to led even tho the plants are one 9 days into 12/12

I don't see why not, just Start the led a bit further away than recomended because they are so much more intense. Slowly move them closer to the desired height over a couple days as not to stress them too much.

What's the difference in wattage between the two?

I'm currently useinf a 250 w hps an the led is 400 w

Yeah, won't be a problem. like I said start the light farther away and each day move it closer till you feel comfortable. If you see signs if light stress then back off a couple inches.

Make sure to check with the manufacturer for optimum light distance

I'm using a 300w Giant 8u cfl for veg and will switch to my 48x3 Mars reflector to flower.
