Hello everyone. I just completed my new grow room and I now have some seeds that have popped.
I will be growing:
5-wonder woman
1-grape roll up
1- Hawaii Maui waui
1- aurora indica.
I will be growing in a coco coir/perlite mix and use frequent fertigation
I plan to have these girls hanging by Christmas. Feel free to ask questions and throw out advice. I am here to help and I am constantly learning.
I will share my growing techniques, grow room construction and anything to help new and veteran growers.
Here are pictures of my grow and the babies

Nice room

Love the raised tables
Thanks Chris.
I built the black one out of 2x4’s, plywood and a thick pond liner. It is 10 foot long and 3 foot wide. Used a sink drain and pvc to get rid of the run off. I got lucky and there was a floor drain in place. It has a pee trap in place and I do not lose co2.
The other tray is 3x6. I just used 2x4’s to build a frame for it to sit on. They are both sloped to aid the runoff.

8 days ago, the seeds got wet. I used rock wool cubes that I soaked in 5.7 ph water. Then I put the seed into the little hole in the cube. I kept the cubes moist with water for the first 7 days. They all popped and I just up potted to a solo cup because they all had one or two little roots poking out of the base of the rock wool cube.
Today is day 8 from seed and they are being fed a very light nute mix.
Per gallon of water:
2 ml cal mag
1ml micro
1 ml grow
1 ml bloom
The ppm is 360 on a ppm 500 scale. Ph is at 6.0. Some folks recommend water only, but when I transplant the cube, I like to keep the coco conditioned with the calmag and nute. The seedlings don’t mind, if the ppm is low and it keeps the coco charged with calmag.
Here they are tonight

Have u used co2 before
Yes I have. I prefer a sealed room as part of my ipm. And it is easier for me to keep a consistent temperature. Right now, I do not have it on. I will start using in next week. I will veg at 1000 and flower at 1100 ppm.

When I saw the CO2 I thought about ... "If the space is big enough then pull up a lawn chair ..." we are CO2 machines :)

When growing in hydroponic, I highly recommend a quality ph meter and ppm/ec meter. I have used paper strips, $10 meters from eBay and they are all unreliable.
I know it cost some money, but the blue lab combo meter is my go to. It is reliable and easy to use.

Not much growing on over here. The seeds popped 8 days ago and they are trying to fill the cups with roots. I have my gallon pots ready for transplant. Hope to have some good roots in a week.

Update: they popped 12 days ago and they all are sporting some fat indica leaves. Ppm is 440 on a 500 scale and the ph is 6.2. Currently, I am feed/watering twice a day and by hand. I will set the drippers when they get into the gallon pot.
The roots are to the bottom of the cups but they are not quite ready for the uppot.
My current feed mix per gallon:
3 ml calmag
2 ml micro
2ml grow
2ml bloom
2 ml voodoo juice
This mix comes out to about 550 ppm, so I then add a little more water to get it to 440 ppm. When you use advanced nutrients ph perfect, it really works right if you are mixing 7-8 ml of grow micro bloom, per gallon. When you are just using a couple ml of each nute, it does not ph the water below 6.5-6.6. So I add a little gh acid and get it in range.

I decided to go ahead and top them today at the 4th node. I usually top when I transplant to the gallon pot but I am getting a little jump on it. I am feeding at 420 ppm and 6.3 ph. Still fertigating twice a day. The plants are doing fine but they were letting me know to back off a little on the nutes. You can look at the leaf edges. They are bending just a little bit but not burned. I just diluted my nut mix with some water and brought it down 20 points. Roots look good but they need a few more days in the solo cups.

I think I will up pot to a gallon pot tomorrow. I have them ready to go. I use an empty solo cup as a mold for the root balls and I soak the coco/perlite with my nute solution. I have it set at 490 and 6.1 ph.

I know zip about hydro methods but that’s ok I can tell you know what you’re doing  Here for the ride, mate. Are we there yet?
Pull up a chair and thanks for checking in!
