Circuit overload, need help

I have a setup using one 1000 watt hps, and two 400 watt MH, but I can only run the HPS without tripping the circuit in my room. The grow room is in the attic, but there are not plugs up there so an extension has to be ran from the room socket to the attick. I would like to setup a sub panel or something to let me use all my lights and not have to run an extension cord.

Thanks for any help I need it.

run two cord from two different rooms that are on two different breakers don't put more than 1200-1400 watts on one cord

get the long cord for running air conditioners that is bigger wire than regular long cords put power strips with builtin breakers on it

You really need to rewire the attic.Cords get hot and melt and cause fires!
I had the same problem, but solved it.
I ran electric wiring, the kind you use to wire a house with, from another room.
It had an unused receptacle,i rewired it and ran the new elect to the room 50ft away.
Next I'm going to run wires to the panel in the basement and rewire both rooms .
You can get away with 1000w per circuit. Most are 15-20amps per,a 1000w uses 9-12 amps.
