Finally the big girls starting to bounce back and have new growth, just taking them a little bit but I just have to keep being patient.... also scratched in some 12 seed clover cover crop into the surface of my pots, give these girls some companion plants the help out the soil

What are the pros of using the clover cover crop?
As far as I know clover is a nitrogen fixing plant so it adds that when they die and get fed back to the soil and then also I’d imagine there’s some advantages to having the cover crop in a kind of symbiotic relationship with the cannabis roots living in harmony lol but I’ll have to do some more research not very knowledgeable on the subject quite frankly

Cover crops can also lend a hand in keeping down pests.

Companion planting works when you pick the right combo. I love planting beans and corn together. Beans give the soil lots of N for the corn to use.

That’s awesome thanks for the info, I’ll have to remember that if I ever get around to growing some corn too!

So @Gazoo just posted in Hibrix Q&A that the cover crop I bought is also designed to help encourage mycorrhizae fungi populations in the soil as well

That's definitely a winner then! Thanks CK!

Still vegging along in both rooms, soil will be ready in 10 days and I’ll be able to flip finally, not in a huge rush tho because found a few spider mites on a few of the bigger plants in the big room, all the seedlings are healthy and most in the big room don’t have signs either. I noticed them Friday, sprayed sulfur that night then grandevo the next day and tonight did essential oils. Will have predatory mites here to go to war this week. The reason I got a few mites is because I had sick plants and was trying not to do anything to them and let them bounce back but also didn’t IPM for 2 weeks and boom bugs.... anyways I feel as though I handled it a lot better this time, instead of having a temper tantrum and getting all types of pissed I decided to use my energy to react to the situation and deal with it. Not seeing any webs and only maybe a handful of mites still alive before I just sprayed the absolute shit out of them with the paint sprayer making sure I knock those bastards off!

New growth after spraying(with a paint sprayer) 4 times in the past 5 days lol. First day sprayed sulfur, then next day grandevo then grandevo again the essential oils past 2 days. Predatory mites are shipping today and will be here tomorrow so no more spraying as we are about to head into flower and I refuse to spray in flower past week 1 and really not at all if possible.

Also I’d like to point out that I put one of my seedlings of Candy Apple Banana into her final 7 gal pot and put her under the LED and she has doubled in size in the past 8 days or so. Really shows how much more usable light this fixture puts out compares to my 1000 DE HPS

The seedlings that are staying in veg(Burnout Chem) have lateral branching like crazy popping off and have me super excited to see what’s to come with them. I’m looking for that old school gas and hoping these will be close to it since the cross is Dominion Skunk X Chemdog D, lots of old school in those genes. Anyways I hope everyone has a great day and stay stoney!

Damn brother....you got some stuff going on here don't ya! Looking good man!
Really appreciate it man, but ya always on the hunt for that new new ya know, and I’m just addicted to popping seeds what can I say, guilty as charged haha and life always seems to find a way to test your character and man if it hasn’t been testing me to see it I’m true to the plant or if I’ll get frustrated and give up after failure upon failure. But I know that successful people are the ones who have failed countless times and never gave up which is why I will never give up!

Looking good CK! How are they liking the Spydrx?

They’re booming under it, all the plants are loving it! It’s actually the Spydr 2p one of the newer models and I’m Super glad I purchased this, do have a light bar with some issues gonna have to send that bar in for warranty but other than that it’s been awesome

What’s up guys and gals, garden still looking mediocre but slowly bouncing back just having to be patient, new growth looking good, and have one plant in the big room that is starting to flower under 18/6 lol
