Clarification on whats hydro or soilless

Is growing in a soilless medium using liquid nutrients considered hydro? According to Wikipedia it is but I really need clarification on this. For example, would my soilless medium of Promix HP with some perlite added be considered hydro when fed with Fox Farm nutrients?

Soilless grows are kind of considered hydro. They ARE specifically soilless grows, but are treated like hydro.
If using liquid nutes, nothing changes.

Just avoid time release nutes, they're difficult to measure, and can cause more harm than good.

in my promix i run them at 6.5-6.8 the same as soil.

in my Cap'n croutons(R/W) I run5-3-6.1---I consider this soiless,same as dwc/ntf

How would you be watering your plant? I would consider it so I less in the sense that your not using soil. But I'm currently growing in mini rockwool cubes but wouldn't call mini rockwool cubes soiless. Its actually a harder question than I thought.

Hydro grows usually use a soilless media (but not always)
Soil grows are not considered soilless for obvious reasons hehe

Ok so feed plants according to the hydro schedule and not the soil schedule for soilless, sounds good. It is a tricky question after looking back on it
