I accidentally split her wig a week or two ago.

She cracked right down the middle, we had to operate, she on the mend now.

Her healing sure looks good to me, relieving my mind

All healed up, and fast too, like 3 days, 4 tops!

Nice save on the split.
And that canopy. WoW.
Excellent work.
Can't wait to see the stretch.

Great looking canopy and happy plants! I would take off the weak branches under the canopy that won't get any light later in flower and will steal growth hormones from the tops above the net, like the ones with arrows below. Also I think you should tape up that split (circled) to make sure it doesn't get worse.

Hey there shed, yeah I’m positive they look so good bc of your suggestions! Especially the one where I should feed them more, they definitely love ya for that one!
Oh yeah those are the branches I plan on cloning.
As for the split, I did have a clip holding her together but looks like I removed it too soon. I’ll have to take a look in the am to see how she is doing and hopefully hasn’t split any further. Thanks for all your help as per usual!

Hey Bill, lmao boy could I use that level once in stretch bc I just cannot seem to keep her under control during this time, it has been my biggest struggle yet! I promise it isn’t from lack of trying, I believe the disconnect is from me not following through and trusting the process or even better, somehow I get to thinking I know best when in reality, I really don’t lol like for instance I tried doing some LST on the super tall branches as per usual, ya know, just slightly bending until it gives way a lil, well this time that didn’t happen. I was a little too heavy handed and popped like 3 possibly 4 tops off. That’s when I said fine, just do what you want then lol
I mean they’re all beautiful in my eyes, but sometimes a mothers love can be blind
I am having so much fun, so I think I’ll keep at it!

Hello, hello, hello, long time no update, huh! Lol

Just thought I’d close up this journal with some, yup you guessed it, pictures, a photo dump or whatev

This grow has gone off without a hitch, same as the one after that, and the one after that, and so on. My issue isn’t growing I’ve come to find out, it’s the drying and curing that I just cannot seem to get a hold of or the hang of. There is so much info on how to properly dry and cure (I like the FFF in the summer bc it’s so hot and dry here) that I make myself so confused, mixing up all the info and creating a disaster. I mean it does what it’s supposed to do, I just cannot get the smell and taste where I want it to be. The smell comes out when I break it up. It’s just not there when I open the jar. The people I’ve shared it with seem to really like it and have no complaints. but I think they just don’t want to hurt my feel bads.
Like I said, we still smoke it and make edibles and it’s does it’s job, I just want that dispensary smell and taste, then and only then will I be 100% happy. So Until then, I guess we are 90%. Of course I would come back to @420Magazine for the missing link bc like where else would I go? Not to mention this is where I learned to grow in the first place! And there is no other place I’d dare let influence me

I ended up removing the scrog net bc the one in front left got away from me in stretch, so the net was pulling on one side.

This past Friday I harvested her last 2 plants. and am currently drying in mini FFF.
Now I just have to get a hold of drying and curing. I read somewhere that some people may never get it, I pray that’s not me!!

I now have 3 other strains in Veg. Unicorn poop, Gorilla glue #4 and some banana runtz. I’m debating on whether or not I’ll start a new journal for them or not. We’ll see

Plants look terrific and the buds look plentiful.

There is so much info on how to properly dry and cure (I like the FFF in the summer bc it’s so hot and dry here) that I make myself so confused, mixing up all the info and creating a disaster.

You actually have a mini frost free fridge? Never seen one of those. If you can dry low and slow every time and stick to the basic the rules of the process (assuming your fridge is frost free), that's the way to do it every time. No burping, no overdrying. Once you start burping you create the possibility of the flowers getting too dry.

Here is a link to a great summary of the low and slow method.

And the best way to quickly get the RH down if the buds come out too wet at the end of the process.

Lol that’s too funny, Bc I totally forgot how to use all the features on the site. As for the mini fff, it’s a mini fridge in the sense that it’s not as big as the one in my kitchen lol. Idk It’s just like a hotel/dorm size or whateva.

Yeah…overdried huh, okay, I’ve tried following the thread by sue and a few others on drying lo&slo fff, you gave me the link awhile back. I thought I did everything as directed, I just don’t think I know how to follow directions the 1st,2nd, or 10th time. Don’t get me started lol now that you mentioned the burping thingy, I would burp once or twice a day. I’ll check out these links you sent and hopefully it sticks this time, bc idk why I cannot get it right. If it’s the burping I’ve been doing all wrong then I think I can handle that.

These are the last 2 GFOG that I have in the fridge rn. I’ll get some pictures tomorrow of the buds. Today is the 3rd day in the fridge.

Fingers crossed I cure them properly, I’m about ready to pay someone to do it for me or teach me (like personally) how bc I’m tired of my wicked buds not having that wicked aroma to match! It should be a crime really! It usually helps if I can talk it out so here I am, trying to talk this out.
