Welcome to my new journal. Thank You for stopping by. Right now in the flower closet I have 6 different strains..

All heights are approximate but very close. These plants are the tallest I will have going into 12/12 so far.
Lucy 15 inches

White Ruski 15 inches

Tangerine Dream 15 inches

Rock Lock 14 inches

Pineapple Express 14 inches

Sour AK from clone 12 inches

For Soil I am using plain old mg. I know it is not the best but it works for me and way more convenient to obtain.

For nutes I am using oc+ and plan on getting some BPN 2 part to add later in flower.

For Veg I use 2 90w UFO Led Lights. For flower I use a 1000w HPS air cooled light.

My grow room does have a portable ac to keep temps and humidity down.

I use the airpots! Used them for over a year now. They work great. This is the first grow I will be actually using them the right side up!! LoL! After reading a post from XLr8 I realized I have not been using correctly. The top part of the pot should have the blocked holes. The holes are supposed to be on the bottom.

I water the plants using the lift method. That is the best way so far for me to check.

Man! I lost the Violator Kush seed. I do not know what happened. It had the same environment as the other seeds and just petered out. I am clinging on hope that it makes it. If not that is ok. 6 plants is all I really need or want in the flower room.

Heck Ya! Pull up your weed bag chair and enjoy the ride. I have 6 little female recruits that are going to give it their best to make the grade!! Gonna push these girls to the limit. Inspections will be weekly! I expect each and every one of them to give me 120% of thier best growing ability!!

I'm here for the ride, that really sucks that it had to be the VK. She turned out so beautiful last time. Although now you get a go at my current favorite strain of cheese! I can't wait for mine to be down. I have found about a half dozen amber trichs on it, not very many but I still have a couple weeks to go with her!!

I know you are still serving. I never wrote the word Ooorah or Hoorah. I guess they both sound the same!! I guess you learn by the DI. My DI said it was not Hoorah. He said it sound too much like HoooHaw. Which the Army uses. And the Army was a bunch of pussies!! When he said this beautiful motivating word. I sounded like...........Uuooorhah! Almost like a loud horn on an old car except much more menacing!!

Yeah, I just wrote it that way, cause I could not figure out how to write it the WAY IT TRULY SOUNDS, which is very visceral and You are giving each letter a HUGE SQUEEZE!! Just like Left Right Left sounds more like DJER REFF ARIGHT REFF!!! Which, if You have not had it Motivated Into Your Soul Thousands of Times, is the way in Your/Our minds it is supposed to sound, NO OTHER WAY, not Your Left Right Left. It still makes Chills Go Up My Spine When Marching In Formation with a Good Cadence Caller! I'll Be Out in a matter of Weeks! Makes Me Happy and want to Cry at the same Time! So many Memories, GOOD AND BAD. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.

As soon as we got back to the squad bay the DI yelled....Private Farmer report to the Squad Bay. I said…Sir Yes Sir. The first thing he did was give me a good chew out! I felt his breath and spit on my face. He was so angry that I felt uncomfortable Then had me doing squat thrusts, pushups, leg lifts. A squat thrust is putting your body in push up position and standing up and repeating over and over again. Leg lifts were also very popular. The DI would have the recruit lay down on his back and lift his legs an inch above the ground. Better not bend your legs or get them too high. You might get a fist in your gut!! Of course pushups were big too. Except push ups were done differently….It was not give me 20. It was more like. Up. Down. Keep your chest an inch above the ground recruit!! Get your asses down. Up. Down. I See asses!! And do this over and over again. I swear I have never heard the Lords name in vein or the F word more than in the first few days of boot camp. These guys had cussing down to an art! I was surprised that the Government would approve of such language! After my first punishment I remember thinking that I must not let this happen again.

From then on I never lost another item of clothing. I always kept up on runs. I even tried to help other recruits complete runs by running while holding on to them while running. Because when they failed we all failed. The DI’s made sure we knew about that. They wanted us to make sure we kept our squad in line. They also talked about the blanket party. I never heard of this before and it didn’t sound so bad until I heard what it was. The DI told us that if we did not live up to our expectations and if we held the platoon back a blanket party is a good way to motivate a underperforming recruit. A blanket party is where a squad of recruits take turns hitting a slacker recruit with a sack filled with ivory soap. He said Ivory soap because that is what we all had. He also said it was frowned upon but he left it to us to police ourselves and hold a blanket party if needed. This was a big motivating factor for me.


I had a bottom bunk and my bunk partner was a large black man from LA. We talked and got along well. One day we had to get shots. These needles seemed about a foot long. They were very long. The Navy Corpsman injected these long needles into our muscle area of our buttocks. Black people naturally have muscular buttocks. When they put the needle in this poor recruit. His ass muscles tighted and the corpsman could not pull the needle out. I have never seen anything like this before or since. When we got back to the Squad Bay to call it a day. This poor recruit could not make it to his top bunk. He was in pain. He tried to sleep in my bottom bunk with me!! I said get thefu@k out of my bunk! He said he was in pain and asked me to exchange bunks with him. I knew if this were to happen and the DI found out it would be certain trouble. The DI heard a scuffle from us and came charging out of the room He saw me in my bunk and this big black recruit in his white boxer issue shorts laying at the floor of my bed. I didn’t know what to think. Next day this recruit was out of the Marines. Not sure if this guy wanted me to be his bitch in boot camp or not. I was sure glad to see my bunk mate go!

If He would have stuck around in my Platoon, WE WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM MORE THAN JUST A BLANKET PARTY, as matter of Fact, I guarantee You WE would of had Him Quitting the Next Morning at REVELIE. And You would Have been NO ONES Bitch, that Night or any Other, on My Honor!!! Pisses Me Off!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.

As soon as the DI saw him on the floor and asked me what the #$%#:! was going on. I told the truth. Nothing else to say and this guy was out of the sqaud bay within minutes. To this day I do not know if they took him to sick bay or the brig. Either way. I was extrememly happy to see him go. Very uncomfortable circumstance. Something I will never forget.

Next morning we were awakened with the usual morning greeting…..Get on the Road for Chow!..... This is how we woke up every morning. What get on the road meant was go out side and get into your place in formation. If a recruit is late for formation he will miss breakfast and do some serious squat thrusts!! I don’t know about the other recruits but by this time I became like a fireman in the morning. I had my trousers positioned. My boots laced to the top my socks separated and ready. I could go from a deep sleep to be completely dressed in less than aminute. That is no lie!!

As soon as chow was over we all said a special goodbye to the Recruit that tried to sleep in my bunk. I have no idea where he spent night after the fiasco at my bunk. He was escorted by Military MP’s. They had him stand in front of us outside. He did not have his cover on. We were as a group in formation. The Drill instructor told us all to look at the civilian slime pussy in front of us. He also said a bunch of other insults that I cannot remember. We we instructed to do an about face and off we marched never to saw him again.

From the time we got to boot camp we were not allowed to blouse up our trousers to our boots. We were told we were not ready yet because we still had the civilian slime. Marching around with bloused trousers was a status symbol. The recruits with the bloused trousers were boot camp veterans!! I found myself really looking forward to be able to blouse up our boots.

We were taught in class about the Marine Corps Dress Blue Uniform. The red strips stand for all the blood of past Marines in battle. I thought I sure hope I don't add to those stripes!!They told us about Irish Pennants. An Irish Pennant is a loose thread of clothing. At no time were we to have any Irish Pennants on our uniforms. Our boots and shoes were to be polished at all times. We had weekly inspections and if we broke any of these rules we would be dealt with severely. We got a break every night before bed and every Sunday for a few hours. During break we all shined shoes cut Irish Penants off our uniforms. Sunday was wash day. We washed all our clothes by hand. We were each assigned a scrub brush and a bottle of wisk detergent. Outside the squad bay was a large area witha whole bunch of outdoor sinks. We used our wisk detergent and our brush and washed our own clothes from our socks to our uniforms. Even though we did all our chores during break it was nice to actually speak to and get to know the other recruits. Breaks were always something I looked forward to.

IP's!! I never got busted with a single Irish pennant during uniform inspections... Was a source of pride for me. Fun reading your story and recalling my own experiences as well. Love the pics!
