i have a pressure barrel and co2 cartridges for it so i can carbanate my own water but my question is can i water plants with it and will giving co2 straight to the roots do any harm to the plant and can i use my nutes with co2 water?

Roots do not absorb CO2. You could foliar feed with the water, but I don't know how effective it would be compared to a CO2 enrichment system. Remember that plants will only utilize the excess CO2 during light hours.

Also, adding carbonated water to your soil will drop your pH, since you are basically adding Carbonic Acid to your soil. Keep the CO2 on your leaves and the O2 on the roots.
