Can a clone grown in coco coir, be transplanted to a soil mix, and how ? Gave my friend some clones, and he's having hard time getting them to grow in soil.

Not sure why he's having problems. I used coco pellets last round and took off fine.... transplant shock maybe? Or has it been a while?

These clones are solid root bound in 14oz. cups. I would like to put them directly outside into 50% aged cow poop compost/50% native garden soil, but I'm afraid they wont take. I'm thinking about transplanting them to 1 gal pots, and they have one mo. to except the soil mix. I never really thought of it being a problem, planting coco clones into soil . They got some solid root systems, don't know why they'd care, as long as their ppm & ph are adjusted. they're eating 700ppm, so they're not weaklings. thanks for the get back Flatlander.
