Coco pH runoff

Hi all. Quick question for the coco growers. I ph consistently at 5.8-6.0, I tested my runoff this morning and my ph is running out at 6.8-7.0. Is this normal for coco? Should I ph at 5.5 for a few days and try to drop the ph? Any advice? Thanks

No, don’t change a thing. Don’t worry about runoff ph, chemical salts & fine sediments come out in the wash. Then if you adjust your input ph to get a different value on the runoff side you will really be in the ditch. Just continue to adjust your input ph and forget about runoff

Its a 2 year old thread , But i agree.
Worry about whats going in not whats coming out in coco.
Your ladies will tell you if they lock out.
By not feeding and colour.
If its not broken dont be trying to fix it.
Plus its real hard to lock out in coco.
Dont really hold on to much.
