News network CNBC returns to Colorado one year after enacting Amendment 64 to chart the progress and results of marijuana legalization.

The upcoming documentary, "Marijuana Country: The Cannabis Boom" examines the results of legalization from many different perspectives. Correspondent Harry Smith profiles the most successful legal pot merchant in Colorado while CNBC cameras follow two dealers who continue to profit from the black market.

"Marijuana Country" also looks into several unforeseen consequences, such as the controversy behind cannabis-infused edibles that has raised concerns over potency and dosing. The issue of pot in the workplace is also covered, as several employers still enforce zero tolerance policies despite the new state law. Yet another result is the influx of medical refugees moving to Colorado to receive cannabis treatment that's considered illegal in their home states.

CNBC's "Marijuana Country: The Cannabis Boom" premieres January 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

as it is now, some corporations can require a tobacco-free workforce, so it appears that would continue with anti-mj employers regardless of mj's legality.

I wonder they will throw up the numbers of kids getting high when the numbers really show they are dropping.
