Starting to see more and more cloudy. I'd say they're almost at their peak potency

Oh my GOD man. Those are stacked SO hard on top of each other. That's insane. That's exactly what I want in my buds. I hope I get anything close to this. Amazing, man. I believe trichomes tell the real story of how well you did with the bud. If they look like this, you had to do something right. Nice work man.

WOW. Gorgeous colors man. Great looking buds. What does purpinator do?
Thanks man :thanks: It's supposed to help bring out colors in plants that have them in their genes. Not sure how effective it is or not, but the smell is out of this world. They are so much more fragrant than our last grow so i'll credit purpinator with that. The colors might just be coming from the cold air and genetics.

You're too kind @Jon thank you so much. It's getting pretty frosty in there.

They look pretty frosty... gonna have to look up purpinator now just to satisfy my curiosity.

They look pretty frosty should make some great smoke.

Thanks @Diatomacious I highly recommend purpinator. There isnt much info out there on people running it. I think it's relatively new. But their terpinator has been out for a few years now and seems pretty popular. I jokingly call it our "snake oil additive" even though i do have faith it is making a positive impact on our plants.

captured a few pics last night while we had the light off for their nightly scoping. Still mostly cloudy trichomes with only about 20% clear left.

Clearly this grow is going to be a quality over quantity situation. The buds arent huge by anyones standards. But they are dense and would stick to a wall if you threw one up against it :yahoo:

Well well well. Week 11 is here. And they are still growing, stinking, and keeping us in suspense.

Changed the res Monday night. Still running the same ratio as week 9 just slightly more diluted than the previous week. Sitting around 750ish ppm these days. They definitely want it backed off. Ph is still stable around 6.0 with little adjustments here and there. Always down, never up

keeping the temps low is really bringing out the colors. Still keeping things in the high 50’s during lights out and the canopy sits on 70* light on these days. I’d like it cooler, but where we live is already seeing 90* days weekly. We can only do so much before just building a walk in freezer to grow in . . . :hmmmm:

Some random photos from around the tent should suffice to close this update out :bongrip:

You're a patient man, Michael. I'd be having SUCH a hard time. Lol. Wow, killer colors. Those purples!!!!

Hey brother I hope all is good. Just getting caught up. Looking great over here and looks like you got some trimming in your future lol.

Some of the best smoke comes from small rock hard frost covered buds.

Not all stains grow huge nugs but good things come in small packages

Play safe and enjoy everyone

Thanks for the kindness @Jon Haha it isn't easy man. Not by a long shot. Especially smoking the amount of larf we have over the last 2 months  Now it is cured larf lol. Yes folks, you heard that right, we cured our larf too. Just in case, and I'm so glad we did.

Starting to see Amber in there and clearly most of the trichomes have turned cloudy at the very least.

Hey @KCCO 77 Thank you for the kind words. Your garden is a true inspiration to us man. I find myself saying "one day" every time i take a trip through your journal. I'm dreading the trim though, couldn't imagine taking on a canopy like yours.

Couldn't agree more. We are very pleased with our small but dense and frosty buds. There are a ton of them anyways. It's nearly impossible to get all of them in a photo because of how crowded they are in the tent.

I think the time is almost upon us to shut the light off and begin their 36hr dark cycle before harvest. Going to let the light shine one last time tonight to get a final scoping and maybe douse the res with floranectar and purpinator for the final frosting/terpene build in the dark.

There are a ton of deep purple and almost black looking leaves. The colors are getting crazy in there. I’ve got plans to set up a makeshift photo booth for some glamor shots on the best looking tops that come out of there.

for now here is the best looking bud in the bunch. She’s not the biggest, but she has the most uniform structure of them all. More to come from this little beauty :yummy:

next up is a little taster boon i plucked from the larfy mess below the canopy. I thought we had some larf before but holy moly. There will be plenty for emergency use at least :p flash dried her in a dehydrator for about 2 hours. Tastes . . . Interesting lol. Flash dried buds never taste good. But she packed a PUNCH. For an undeveloped larf bud she had almost all cloudy

Next up is a colored leaf i pulled for misses hunt to press in one of her “ladies cannabis books” as she calls em :Rasta:

and finally is one of the golden eggs right in the center of the nest. Cant wait to scramble one of these

That’s all for now. I’ll be back later with a final round of trichome pictures, and light off canopy shots. Happy Friday everyone! :bongrip: Thank you for stopping by :thanks:

I'm so in love with your grow man. Absolutely beautiful. KILLER job. Wow.

Thank you man, same to you. Been busy lately so i don't get much time to reply to all the journals I'm following but yours is definitely at the top of my list :thumb:

It’s time folks. The last light is shining as i type this and then begins the 36 hr dark period. I also plan on pumping them full of sugar and purpinator before the long night. The smells and colors are already unbelievable and can only get better we hope.

Saw a good bit more amber than ever before in the scope. Too bad my dumb ass didn't have the sd card in the slot :lot-o-toke:
Last round of stats for the daylight window.
Air temp: below canopy 58, canopy 71, ceiling 65
Humidity: below canopy 63, canopy 48, ceiling 55
Water temp: 64
PH: 6.0
PPM: 650

On to the fun part, pictures. There are green leaves, purples leaves, redish leaves, yellow leaves, even some pink portions. The buds are also green and purple all over. I really hope you can see it in the photos.

And last but not least is a perspective picture, so you all can get an idea of how THICK this tent is. It looks like this wall to wall, all the way back o_O

Its ridiculous. So much for the efforts to thin the canopy.

Happy Friday night everyone :thanks::passitleft:
