Colorful Sunset Sherbet Clones DWC

It’s time folks. The last light is shining as i type this and then begins the 36 hr dark period. I also plan on pumping them full of sugar and purpinator before the long night. The smells and colors are already unbelievable and can only get better we hope.

Saw a good bit more amber than ever before in the scope. Too bad my dumb ass didn't have the sd card in the slot :lot-o-toke:
Last round of stats for the daylight window.
Air temp: below canopy 58, canopy 71, ceiling 65
Humidity: below canopy 63, canopy 48, ceiling 55
Water temp: 64
PH: 6.0
PPM: 650

On to the fun part, pictures. There are green leaves, purples leaves, redish leaves, yellow leaves, even some pink portions. The buds are also green and purple all over. I really hope you can see it in the photos.

And last but not least is a perspective picture, so you all can get an idea of how THICK this tent is. It looks like this wall to wall, all the way back o_O

Its ridiculous. So much for the efforts to thin the canopy.

Happy Friday night everyone :thanks::passitleft:
The colors. God. The colors. I dream of leaves that look that way at the end. Man oh man are you gonna have your hands full in 36 hours. That's no hour harvest. Lmao. Talk to you in a 36 hours plus a few days. LMAO!! Congratulations man, really. Awesome grow. Really sweet work.

Thanks @Jon :thanks: We definitely have a giant task ahead of us. Gonna just trim major leaves at first, and dry trim the final stuff in a week. Hopefully breaking it up makes it a little less daunting.

Hey brother I hope all is good.

Wifey and myself just finished up the trimming end over our way around noon. Now with a 3 hr nap under my belt and wifey at work I’m going back in to disassemble the system and get her disinfected.

All I can say is good luck brother and I will be here somewhere cheering for ya as you hack through your grow lol.

I did this once sometime ago and IMO it was much harder to clean them up after but I always tried to manicure them. Either way good luck brother and soon it will all be a memory.
What’s next lol play safe and enjoy my friend

Thank you for the advice. We’re going to trim everything while its wet. Plan on making some major changes to the system before firing it back up for another run. :thanks:

Harder to trim dry crunchy leaves... might just want to harvest over a couple days instead.
I’ll take your word for it lol. After spending hours working on the girls last night and getting ready for trimming, the light bulb clicked. Thank you :thanks:

My favorite has always been the harvest I do over a few days picking based on moisture so stem length and what not. The end dry was always a bit hard for me. I mean fast but not the same result personally. Can't wait to see your nugs!

After roughly 6 hours last night, the girls have finally been chopped down. I can still smell terpenes on my face even after almost a full day at work.

We started by cutting out the netting that way larger branched could be removed a little easier. There wasnt a chance in hell of cutting them down at the stump and pulling the plants out whole. They were ridiculously large. Some branches easily being over 4 feet long.

After all the bigger branches and buds were pulled it was time to tackle the larf. Good grief did we get a TON of larf. Didnt take a picture of the larf box but its large and half full lol.

When we finally made it through the jungle of larf it was time to tackle the roots and buckets. Pulled each plant to find all the black shit from the purpinator reacting with something in there. Didnt smell at all, but it made the roots look crazy

By the time i got all the lines drained and capped, buckets removed and tent cleaned, it was 2:30am and the misses had long gone to bed. Ended up just hanging all the branches in bundles on some homemade S-hooks. There are a TON of them. Tonight will be the night we trim everything and i can get you all some better bud photos. It was just too much work to get to this point and document it really well while still being able to go to work the next morning. Now all we gotta do is pluck all those pretty purple/red/black fan leaves and trim.

We're still working on getting everything trimmed. We did about 6 bundles of branches last night with about 14 more bundles to go. Gonna get em hammered out tonight come hell or high water! :headbanger:

Managed two shots of some trimmed buds and a substantial lump of scissor hash considering we’re maybe 1/4 of the way through this job. These are by far the frostiest, most resinous flowers we have ever handled. :yummy:

That should solve your supply problem. :slide:
Thanks man, it should hold us over for a while for sure :thanks:

Its been a while everyone. All the buds have been removed and placed in their jars.

the yield was underwhelming to say the least. We got 7.5oz of good worthy buds. And entirely too much larf and trim. 2 jars of “good” larf for just in case.

The low numbers could be due to myself over drying the buds. The stems were still pretty soft but the buds dried out too much. The smell seems to be unaffected and hopefully the flavor improves with more time in the jars. They STANK. the flavor isnt bad, just needs some improvement.

the jars are all sitting right around 52-53% rh. Oh well, next round will be better. Better genetics. :lot-o-toke:

As for potency. Boy oh boy the potency. The high is STRONG. I do t see us smoking through this stash very quickly. I’ve always had a pretty high tolerance, but you really only need one good bong hit of this stuff and ZOOM, off to mars.

Thats all for now. I hope everyone is having a great week.
