First off, vlear this up for me...I took the advice of someone who told me to keep them in the dark, and that I won't need to put them in the tent until I see a second set of leaves on them. Is this bad advice.
They have been in the dark under a hood and on top of a heating pad. The tent needs to be completed and I was hoping these could hold off on needing to be in there until the weekend. But I will get on it if necessary. I have them under a flourescent light right now. Took the hood off. It seemed like they were getting close to it. Is that all ok to do?
First off, the good news is that you've learned that your advice is no longer advice anymore. That was bad advice to keep them covered. The light should have been on all along. Because there was no light they stretched. Now you have 2 options. Hope that they don't stretch anymore or scrap them and start again. If you keep them there will be alot of stem underground when you replant in a taller pot.
