Really looking forward to this grow ! Been stuck on CFLS for the longest time and feel I have mastered them. I was about to pull the trigger on a 315 CMH fixture till i started researching more and more about LED technology and became very excited after reading @Dutchman1990 's grow. I really hope to replicate his grows to an extent.

Anyways, I would like to invite you to join me on my new LED adventure :)

Shout out to @Budget LED for dealing with my pestering <3

The light has been shipped ! :green_heart:

Will post some photos of what we're dealing with later today or tomorrow.
Going to be doing two plants this time rather than the one, then I think I will either do three or four in 5 gallon pots. Also will be trying out some new strains after I complete the flowering cycle with the new lights, just want to flower out what I already have first.

I've got the following seeds:

4x nuken feminized
4x snow cap feminized

The rest, a pretty good selection of bagseeds I've accumulated over the last few years (The current grow is from one of them).

30x Sooke Copper Head Haze
10x Nuken
3x Dr. Who
3x AK-48 (or nuken)
1x Pink Kush
2x King's Kush
3x Northern Lights haze #5
4x Fire OG
25-30 ish Holy Grail Kush
10x Random Seeds without a label

I'm very excited :)

Haha we worked overtime to make sure we got it out today!

Here's some pictures !

This is last harvest of the same weed I'm currently growing that was done under CFL.

Nutrient line at the moment (have not added any yet this grow, will be getting the full series soon) so far plants are just under tap water and FFOF with perlite

It's funny how bushy the one in the 7 gallon is, I defoliate her often. She keeps bushing out no matter what I do :laughtwo:

forgot to mention I LST very often, It's a bit hard to get the tape to stick on the damn fabric pot so I've resorted to weights for the main stock lol...

also the 2 plants that I'm currently doing were both under the same 23 watt CFL for 6 months or so in the same pot, I replanted them a couple weeks ago and they both have trippled and quadrupled in size since haha. The big one is in the 7 gallon and the other is in like a 3 liter, i will up pot the smaller one once the light arrives :D

I also totally misread the tracking originally, It is on it's way now and will most likely be here by Monday.

I will then take one last photo of the plants under the CFL's. Then I will take one a week after the LEDs have been in the tent to showcase the difference of growth, unless they go crazy, then I'll just flower.

Got the lights today !
Took a bit of tinkering because the light would have hung too low to properly fit in my tent so I had to slightly modify the chain system. Just ended up using the old chains that hung the CFL lights and zap strapped the 4 cables the light came with then attached the climbing clip (i can't remember what they are called) and metal clip for extra support. I can also adjust the height of the light, I just have to be a bit careful as to not let the light swing from side to side.

Originally turning her on and I laughed at how strong it was already, then turned the light up to 100% and was like ok... now I get what they were talking about :adore:

Turned the lights back down to 25% and threw the girls in, I have them about 30 inches away right now... I will drop it to 25 or 20 depending on what I think is best for them.

Was going to do another week of veg, but I'm going to up pot the smaller plant into a 3-5 gallon and flower within the next few days.

Anyways, Beautiful product :) Thank you @Budget LED !

Forgot to mention I'm using the 3500k color of lights. I was on the fence about what I wanted to get and @Budget LED suggested I use the 3500k model since I'm using the same tent for veg/flower.

I'm just so excited, I was up all night thinking about setting everything up yesterday.

So initial impressions are this thing is a beautiful piece of work, It's so nice to have the extra space in the tent. With the CFLs i had to get them so close to the plant that taking photos and working on them was a bit of a pain the ass. These boards also run extremely cool, It puts out less power than my the CFL setup I had! Going to be nice in the summer to not have a blast furnace blowing hot air into my apartment

Light is extremely powerful, even at 50% power it seems like it's brighter than it needs to be. But we'll see how this goes, I'm learning here.

Managed to drop a clip fan directly on top of the smaller plant yesterday and snapped the second main branch to the point it was attached by a thread, I just took some wool twine and tied her up. She seems to be fine, but it's going to put me back at least a week before I up pot now, oh well :nomo:

Looking really good! As always, any questions please let me know!

I put the light to 20 inches away from the canopy and lowered the power to 25 percent. Did a somewhat big defoliation on the bigger plant last night and the smaller one Is almost strontium enough to be up potted. Seems like there was some growth overnight. I might have to stop leaving my windows open lol, these lights run so cool, only have 1 fan 6 inch fan going right now

The smaller plant was still a bit wilted since the light switch so I went ahead and up potted into a 4-5 gallon bucket.
Larger plant is taking off the last couple days and seems to be adjusted, hopefully the yellowing is finished.
Gave the big one a light feeding the other day as well, should help out if it's somehow a deficiency problem.

Also defoliated even more off the bigger plant last night, I swear every time I look in there's more to be cut

I would have liked to be flowering by now, but that little fan accident set me back a week.
Depending how they look tomorrow I might be initiating flower :theband:

I'm also trying to figure out what I'd like to flower next with the seeds that I currently have, much to chose from...

Okay so today marks the 9th day since I received this beauty of a light.
Ran into a bit of a nitrogen or magnesium deficiency, but just fed a full strength dose of nutes + some calmag to help things along.

I have the light set at 55% right now, the plants are loving it. The big one has grown 5 inches in the last few days

Throwing them into flower tomorrow or the next day, prepare for take off !

Yesterday lst + defoliation
