DankaTrons Pc Grow Northern Lights Fem Auto 2019

just because you can see a few of the bottom roots is not a reason to uppot. If she can drain all the water that container can hold in 24 hours or less, that is the reason you are looking for. Stay in a smaller container so as to build a solid rootball and be able to control the wet/dry cycle. Uppot when the plant tells you to, not when you guess it is time because you saw a few of the deep roots.

yep, could be... start treating soon. Nematodes are great if you are organic, diatomaceous earth is great in any soil... some say a layer of sand will block them... I use a layer of bark mulch which encourages nematodes.
i thought nematodes were a pest ? I need to pot up soon anyway does diatomaceous earth need to be mixed in or just layered on top ?

Dankatron V fungus gnats.
First I hit the root system with a mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 4 parts water. To try and kill all the babies and the larvae.

Secondly i added a layer of diatomaceous Earth to the top of my soil to stop the adult gnats from breeding again( god do they breed quickly)

Ive also put a little gnat trap of apple cider vinegar and soap in a container with clear tape over it apart from a little hole to allow entry.

My question is what else can i do to make sure this doesnt happen again? Im guessing allowing my soil to dry out more in between watering so that the larvae dies and cant get up and running. Aswell as not overwatering.

Also how do i water now , should i water from beneath. Im planing to pot up soon would it be okay to change soil type when i pot up next ? Atm i am using a general potting mix and i think it has a few nutrients pre mixed which i dont really like.

Hey DankaTron, I can't tell about the bugs. Can you use a loupe or magnify it somehow and see?
For the yellow leaves I looked at the problem solver in my signature page and looks like beginning of Phosphorous def. If the edges are going brown and moving in, that's how I'd see it. The rest of the plant looks fantastic so I wouldn't panic but keep your eye on it and it might be time to feed some flowering nutes. Check out the problem solver in my signature page and read about it. She's using phosphorous more now with making flowers. Also I found this:Life cycle of autoflowering cannabis
