Hello everyone and welcome to darkscotia 2nd led journal. This journal will be entered into mars hydro cup. Still very new to led growing so all advise and any comments are welcome. To start the new year I've decided to start with only 3 fem blue mystic seeds from royal queen seeds. Wanted to grow 4 but could get other seeds I wanted so have to decided to only go with 3. Seeds were all put into paper towel dec31 and are still waiting for tap roots to show and will put into solo cups till roots fill cups nice.

Here's some grow details:
Strain: Royal queen Blue mystic feminized
20% sativa 80%indica
Blueberry x northern lights
8-9 weeks flower time
Indoor grow height 60-100cm
375-425g m2 yield indoor
18%thc medium levels of cbd with a stoned effect

Grow room details:
4/4/6 secret jardine tent
Mars hydro pro320 led light will be used for veg and bloom
6inch inline vortex fan with can33 carbon filter
14 inch fan.
Will use dehumidifier or humidifier if needed
Room temps should stay between 20-25 light on and off.
Using sunshine 4 soil
Will be using advance nutritents
Jungle juice part a&b grow and bloom
Cal mag
B52
Big bud
Overdrive
Will be using 3 of 5 gallon air pots undecided as of yet

So little update all seeds have sprouted there tap root. All literally just cracked seed so probably another day or two before they hit the solo cups with sunshine#4 soil.will feed straight water for first few feeding ph'd to 6 or so.

Regarding advice growing with LED - Just do as you would do with HPS. Growing with LED is pretty much the same, only better

Update time...
Tent is all setup and running.ill be using mars 320 through hole grow.i pray this bitch don't burn my seedlings.normally use t5 for first few weeks of grow.will be keeping her very far away to start and start working closer.all seeds are above paper towel and only one seed still holding onto its hood.the hood is well cracked just awaiting for the flower to open to push hood off.will be putting into red solo cups with sunshine #4 soil today and under light

Girls all put into Solo cups.the one hooded bandit shed its hood but looks somewhat deformed lol.oh well she'll come around.

Little update: 2 out of 3 girls are on there way. The one girl that held her hood for a few extra days isn't looking good. So in preparation of it failing ive started 2 regular blueberry seeds.hopefully one is female. If the other blue mystic comes around then I guess I'll have some extra plants. Will not grow more then 4 in this tent.i like to veg big girls.humidity in room is been very low as well l.put humidifier in room but not really helping.

I probably also have my light way to far away at this point but afraid of toasting girls with the 320.going to start working light closer as days go on.anyone have a good starting point that has used 320 for beginning from seed.

Kept my 320's about 40cm from the plants in the beginning. That worked superb

I probably also have my light way to far away at this point but afraid of toasting girls with the 320.going to start working light closer as days go on.anyone have a good starting point that has used 320 for beginning from seed.

The one blue mystic that held its hood and then looked like it wasn't going to make it is coming around.small leafs for now but she should pull through. The 2 regular blueberry that I put in paper towel on the 9th have just sprouted little tap roots.hopefully next few days they will be in solo cups with the blue mystic. 3 blue mystic had feeding of straight ph'd water today. Room temps are staying between 18.5 lights off and 22-25 lights on.humidity has been a bit low. Bought a new humidifier but doesn't seem to be working. So instead bought a humidifier that attaches to forced air furnace which will keep heat air more most and not so dry.hopefully it works.humidity has been staying around 20-30rh, I'd like to have it 40-50 right now at this stage.

So slow progress I guess is better then no progress. All girls chugging along nice and slow growing there legs nice and long to grow. Ive added 2 regular blueberry to the mix but think only one is going to make it. Hopefully it's a female.2 of blue msytic coming along just nice with the ugly duckling trailing behind. All still fed straight phd water for now maybe next feeding give some light bites.

Kinda strange they're so slow. How many days ago did you put them in soil and how far away do you keep the lamp?

Looks like 14 days . Maybe put some drainage and lower the light to 40cm. Up pot and go easy on the water . They should go into overdrive. Free advice Ha ha!

Agreed. 40 cm seems to be the thing with Mars-Hydro lamps. Same distance I used in the beginning to sprout the seeds.
