these autoflower plants just got about 3 gallons of filtered water with a tablespoon of botanicare Cal mag that was ph. to 6.7 with citric acid crystals

I noticed that one of the Chem city devil autos is showing a bit of purple hue close to the bud structure I hope it spreads to other parts of the plant I love a good purple color to my plants sometimes I get pretty high heat weather so when I do get some purple its from the genetics if I had A/C I could drop the temps and bring it out more color but its all good

these autoflower plants just got about 3 gallons of filtered water with a 2 tablespoons of botanicare Cal mag that was ph. to 6.7 with citric acid crystals

I forgot to give them a dose of Cal mag in my last watering so the yellowing has hit them even harder I dont really want to use and bottle nutes besides Cal mag but I need to fix this nitrogen problem

they still have a while to go and I dont want to starve the plants if I had some super soil ready I would top dress the soil with it but its still cooking I do still have some worm castings I could make a tea but I think that would just make my plants more hungry

I do still have a bunch of roots organics bottle nutes so if I have to I can give them a dose of some just to help with the problem

so tell me what you think fellow growers should I give them a dose of some bottle nutes from roots organics I need some advice

well after I got some advice I will be making my first tea for my plants I already got a bucket with some plain filtered water and a air pump and air stone bubbling away I water my plants lightly every 2 days so it gives me just enough time to bubble the water for a day before I make the tea

what I plan on using in the tea is nothing fancy just some earth worm castings and molasses and a few of the roots organics bottle nutes I have since most of there bottle line is basically like a tea base so it should work out great and its mostly organic so that's a plus and its what I have on hand so I dont have to spend any money I just want to bring some more green color back to my girls while there in flower

I jacked the pump and stone from my moms fish tank stuff lol but its for the plants so she wont mind and it was a extra one she had I will let the plain water bubble until tomorrow then I will and the worm casting and let it do its thing and later on add the roots organics stuff to the tea about half way of the brew

I have said this before but I will say it again yes I am growing in super soil style of soil and its mostly organic but this is not all organic grow so I dont mind if I have to use a bit of bottle nutes if I have too

I kind of knew that even with the super soil that I would probably need to give them some teas which is fine I have always wanted to make one and this is a start now I can take the time and learn about other teas like seed sprout teas and all that good stuff

time for a update db003 makes his first plant tea!

all joking aside I just started my second part of my plant tea so yesterday I let the plain water that was carbon and sediment filtered by my 4 stage water filter bubble for about 24 hours to help get rid of any chlorine of chemicals that could be evaporated out

so this morning I took my worm castings that I had left of from making my super soil and took about a full hand full and broke it up some and put it in a panty hose to use like a tea bag

next I started to add the roots organics additives I used 4 of them on total here is a list of what I used and what in then and there n/p/k values

each one of the roots organics additives were all added at one tablespoon each for the whole bucket of tea now I will let it bubble for 24 hours and water my plants tomorrow I was not sure when to add everything so I just tossed it all in lol I hope it works

question for tea makers do I need to dilute this tea before I use it?

when I woke up much to my surprise there was foam all over my bucket and floor from my worm castings tea so I guess I did it right it had a very sweet smell almost like flowers or something I checked the ph. of the tea it was a little low but it should be fine I did not want to ph. it with ph. up and mess it up

these autoflower plants just got about 3 gallons of pure worm castings tea made with some roots organics additives and worm castings and molasses that I made yesterday

I used the whole bucket they all got a lot of run off so I dumped the plant saucers out well lets hope that helps the plants out some with the yellowing of the plants I took the left over worm casing that were still in the stocking after the tea was brewed and crumbled it up on the top the soil of the plants

I also raised the light as high as it can go just in case it was too close to the plants

now that I know how to make worm castings tea I plan to use it a lot earlier in my next grow to get the full benefits

so far cant complain plant look good besides all the yellowing but that's on me really and on another note and its been a while since I let plants grow in its natural shape and I got to say I think I like the idea of training the plants better like scroging or just heavy lst I only did lst once on 2 of the plants in this grow but that's it

so I am right here just smoking and heard the click of my grow lights turn off in my grow tent and its hits me take some pictures of the plants with the lights off I am so dumb for not taking any sooner but c'est la vie

now that I got a good look at them under natural light they dont look as bad as I thought they did and holy purple buds batman I am loving the color of that chem city devil auto in the back and the other chem city devil auto is a green phenotype but that fine with me and both of those super sour lemon og autos are looking just as great

my dam side fan fell again and this time it broke a small side branch on one of the sslog plants it sucks but it happens I am just going to open air dry it in my room on a hanger and it gives me a chance to see wet vs dry trim in action since I just left the branch as is and do a little test smoke when its dry

what is more in the sprit of the 4th of July then smoking a pure cannacigar that I rolled with bud that I grew myself at home

it took me 56 days in total to cure and roll this bad boy it was at a perfect 62% percent humidity when I smoked it and weighed out at 5.9 grams after the full cure of the cannacigar

to be honest its more of a special occasion thing to me I dont think I would want to smoke them all the time they burn so slow I would be totally blitzed real quick lol I prefer my bubbler pipe for everyday smoking

I only took a couple pics this time I am going to wait till later until the lights turn off and get some pics in natural light I think they look way better

these girls are almost there! 3 of them just passed the 70 day from sprout mark and the 4th one is only 4 days behind and should be coming down soon I will start flushing them on my next watering for the ever so important flush before harvest

since I am in super soil I am not sure if a traditional flush will work I just plan on taking each plant to the bathroom and giving each plant a full five gallon bucket of plain filtered water I wont even ph. it

took some sweet pictures of my super soil grow of the super sour lemon OG autos and the Chem city devil autos from puff puff pass cultivars genetics

so I finally got a chance and I took some shots of the plants with the lights off to see how far along they are in flower to see if they were ready to be flushed and took one of the plants out of the tent to get a good look and one of the braches snapped clean off it sucks but it happens

if it was still attached to the plant I would have tapped it up but its all good I just hung it inside my grow tent with the plants since I have no place to dry it right now but I get a nice tester so yeah for me lol I am starting think I wanted to break it off lol

but back to the plants they look so great and look ready to be flushed for harvest so my first call was the right call so now that I know that I will begin flushing them on my next watering

for the flush I will use some mad farmer detox flushing solution its a sample bottle I had that was still half full so I will give it a shot I plan on giving each plant a full five gallon bucket of water with some of the mad farmers and that is basically it after that I will just keep giving them plain water until the ready for harvest

3 of these plants are in day #71 from sprout and one is in day #67 from sprout

man I finally got most of my stuff in the mail that I ordered

I got a Active Aqua Air Pump, 2 Outlets, 3W, 7.8 L/min plus a bunch of air stones and air hose for the pump I cut the hose to the same length for both lines that way I get even pressure and used a T-way connector and put 2 air stones on the end of each line and put them in my buckets I will use this set up for just bubbling plain carbon filtered water for my plants to help get rid of any chlorine

I have another older air pump that I will use only for bubbling worm castings tea or seed sprout teas I also purchased some alfalfa seeds and a seed sprouting lid for wide mouth mason jar they came together I mostly got the alfalfa seeds for myself but might give some to the plants

I also got a bag of corn that will be for seed sprout teas as soon as I can figure out were I left it I might just go buy another bag lol and I also want to get some barley for seed sprout teas as well

lets see I got some Dutch white clover seeds to do a experiment with cover crop with a friends outdoor grow and for shits and giggles I will toss some on my plants pots in my next grow

well that's about it I think I already got the air pump all set up for my water buckets and bubbling away I will save the seed sprout teas for my next grow I cant wait

these girls are almost there! 3 of them just passed the 75 day from sprout mark and the 4th one is only 4 days behind and should be coming down soon

I got a chance to take 3 of the plants out of the tent and get some pictures in natural light

well my friends the time has come its harvest day!

this will be my final grow update of my super soil grow of the 2x super sour lemon OG autos and the 2x Chem city devil autos from puff puff pass cultivars genetics

I decided to just chop all the plants since they were all so close to being ready I had a great time with this grow and am really impressed on how the super soil mix I made worked out with these plants and am glad I made more for my next grow

so out of the 2x Chem city devil autos from puff puff pass cultivars they had pretty much had the same type of bud structure and had nice tight buds with a solid density one of them went straight full on purple on me and one just showed tiny hints of purple that in the light looks pink the smell was a very musky earthy smell and hints of lavender and black pepper

out of the 2x super sour lemon OG autos from puff puff pass cultivars they both started to foxtail on me but that's probably because I had high temps throughout the whole grow the plants were very vibrant green and were not as dense but made up in nug size one of them got a lot bigger buds and one was on the smaller side but it was farthest from the light so that was a bit expected the smell was like lemon jolly ranchers very sweet smelling and had undertones of sharp lime so it has a bit of a bite so the name of the strain is spot on with the smell

I moved my other plants from my closet grow to my grow tent and will dry these plants in my closet I get pretty good temps in my closet so I should get a nice environment to dry these plants in its a dry and hot right now so the slower the better

these plants were harvested on day #77 from sprout and one was harvested on day #73 it was a late starter
