Not feeling the update today. Chloe seems to be chugging right along. Had a Bad Day a few days ago. Snapped the biggest fan leaf trying to ever so gently tuck it down one morning.

So, since I need to 'take care' of this snap I pinched it clean off near the base...Along with one of her side flowers.

F*ck. So, I decided to pout and angst for about two hours. Chloe seems fine for it. She's just moving along pretty good really.

:lot-o-toke:

Stench is starting! Fingers crossed for another healthy update next week! Hope all is Green in your Gardens!

:peace: :volcano-smiley: :peace:

Afternoon, Eeyore. I would be sulking right along with you! Sulking, pouting...stomping my foot like a petulant child! I will hold a good thought that they are safe and happy and find their little slice of heaven. You'll have to come out for a visit! :thumb:

As far as Chloe goes, she's looking great! I know on my black cream auto, it seemed like every time I tried to tuck a leaf it snapped off. It was a big ol' bummer. Those big fan leaves are so pretty. It's hard to tell in pictures, but it looks like she has left my Frances in the dust! :bravo: It's gonna be fun to see what she does!

Take care, TopCat! I'll leave these here for you... :joint::joint::bongrip::bong::bong::blunt:

:surf: :rollit: :surf: Photo Update Mylar and Staple Gun : A Good Day :surf: :rollit: :surf:

Chloe seems like she just wants to grow despite herself. I caught her canopy 18" from the light, so I took advantage of "light raising chore" to put up some old Mylar and rehang the lights better. Probably feed tomorrow with light Grow Big and Big Bloom. The Tiger Bloom has low PH and so I will wait until the end to use that.

If she can stay standing :volcano-smiley:

Chloe continues to be top heavy. Her stems seem sturdy enough, I'll bet her root system could not grow as fast as her foliage, and so remains unfirm. One shot in here shows the anchor I made for her.

Chloe's canopy is now 24" from the advanced LED and both lights are hung as high as I can get them. She is 24" tall from soil to tip of her main top. Chloe's width is now as wide as the closet from furthest tips.

Tuesday completes her 5th week:

These photos of the closet continue to look misleading. She is closer to both lights than she appears in these shots. She is filling out as it were, and continues to produce starter pistils, but no real flowering as of yet. If she really does need further support to remain upright, I'm thinking of a tether to the rod above her rather than a stake. I forgot to Neem last Monday. I've seen one or two gnats still, but not as before, so I'm watching.

"Objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are..." :tommy::theband:

That is a crazy girl you got there, TopCat. I think she showed up in your life at just the right time too! It's got to be like a different plant everyday. :morenutes: I need to get some reflective material up on my walls. We were going to do that a while ago but then forgot and I sent the panda film home with Sweetleef. Duh! I'll have to pick up some more!

I hope your day was Magical! :circle-of-love:

She's a beauty top cat :goodjob:

Thanks! :blunt:

The mylar is only up on half the closet :peace: And I agree at just the right time too - for a bunch of reasons honestly  After reworking the lights etc I slept a good bit! :volcano-smiley:

looking really good Catman12 :thumb:

Thanks JuSticE :high-five:

Good looking plant have you ever experienced problems with the ffof soil

Thanks Overitk :peace: Actually I switched to Ocean Forest from their Happy Frog because of problems with that soil. Every grow with all plants the PH would do a nosedive at the 6 week mark. Last grow I did some digging and found other people had the same issues with Happy Frog.

Ocean Forest is supposed to be PH balanced for cannabis, but may be too hot for seedlings, so I started Chloe in garden dirt.

We'll see - I want to go organic and really Fox Farm is the only available choice in my area...

Thanks for stopping in guys :Namaste:

:peace: :morenutes: Photo Update Week 5 :morenutes: :peace:

Chloe is 5 weeks above soil today and has just begun proper flowering. I have the Mars Hysro side lighting on just flower/red light. It makes the closet look nice with the Mylar :peace:

Chloe had 2 tsp FF Grow big and about 3 Tablespoons of FFBig Bloom in a gallon of tap water yesterday morning. Less runoff, so she is using her feeding well. Tap water has PH of 7 which complements the tendency of these nutes to run lower in PH than the 6-6.5 mark. The Big Bloom is good for regulating PH in both the Grow Big, which is really OK on it's own, but also with Tiger Bloom's PH which is ridiculously low. I used Tiger Bloom maybe twice last grow on both plants.

Chloe is now about 30 inches tall and 17 inches from her light. Light doesn't go any higher!

A lovely update to be sure, TopCat! 30 inches tall?? I think you may be feeding her something else! :morenutes::morenutes: I don't know what that would be... I thought I had something clever to say but now I can't remember!! Perhaps I need one of these! :bong:
What is the time line on Chloe--according to the breeder, anyway? I think she is so much fun to watch!
