DIY: How I Cool My Room

Hey all I have had questions about my cooling method so i thought i would just make a DIY thread.....

Basically I have a periscope type of setup with an 8" inline fan at the bottom and i place this in front of a window so the fan pulls air from outside and blows it into the room. This setup cooled my room 20 degrees, but of course i do not grow indoors in summer!

The black screen you see on the duct is a filter of sorts.
I used a worm clamp to attach the duct to the fan.
There is a slot in front for the cord from the fan to come out.
This is 2 feet wide and the window is open 2 feet.
I covered the whole wall/window with a large tarp and pinned it to the wall to make a seal and cover leaks.
The reason the fan is at floor level is because air rises and the hole being low prevents light from outside coming in.

looks good but the sound may be a factor in your grow, plus a tarp in a window and loud noise coming from it..... you can put 2 and 2 together bro, just lookin out.

i have blinds closed so nothing is visible from outside. the fan makes a little noise but it sounds like an air purifier. theres nothing out back of my place too... been growing here for 2 years.
