Do dogs like stems?

My friend told me that just about all (or all) dogs love to eat stems, I didnt believe him until we went to someones house and had a stem, he gave it to the dog and to dog ate that shit like it was a treat, he chewed it up and then licked the ground where it fell


now, is this just because it is a stick or is it because of the way the stem tastes or just because its a stick and dogs eat sticks...

can anyone verify this?

my cuzs dog bud loves weed. If you leave anyout he will eat it. One time he ate a joint of dank that was on the table and 30mins later he couldnt even stand up. lol everytime we smoke blunts my cuz gives him a shotgun from the blunt and he loves it
