Hi guys Im a new grower and I recently just entered week 2of the flowering stage with my one and only plant that made it out of the 4 I planted :(

Unfourtanetly shes the one Ive caused the most damage to as well... From dropping her as a seedling, to breaking branches during early and late vegetative state. And tbh shes not looking too hot in my opinion....

So my question is, do I need more nutrients or not? Specifically, Cal-Mag and Nitrogen...

Ive gotten so many different answers that Idk what to do, and I really don't want to lose this plant after 2 and a half months of growing her.

Any help is appreciated!

Medium : Miracle-No (flushed) first mistake right there. But yo like i said, new grower.

Water: Water , dont water, dont water, water, dont water, [Repeat] (if that makes sense...read it in "day" increments, if tht makes sense..lol)

Amount: 1 gallon divided between 2 plants, both in 7 gallon containers. (Now half of that since shes by herself starting yesterday. *I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO WATER PLANTS. A WATER SCHEDULE WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE HAS ONE THNX)

Ph: pHed to 6.3 - 6.5

Nutes(iThought?) : Fox Farm Lineup (refer to photos)

THX AGAIN!

You go by the Fox farm feeding schedule
And if tap water, may not need Calmag, anything else, well besides like rain water , but then probably yes on Calmag

Ive been following the chart. But ive also only been doing 1/2 to 1/3 a dose because of where I originally got my information from

Do I just jump from the tsp's ive been doing to the recommended amount on my next feed?

What yer doing sounds perfect

I ran the Fox farm trio at half strength with good results

Calmag is good to have, just get some
Also a PK booster for flower, line Koolbloom, is good to

So my question to you is whether you know if any of the gurus on that youtube video work for Fox Farm labs? Who are they to second guess the published instructions?
You have bought into the system described on this video because it sounds safe, and indeed since you are never going to really push your plants, it is actually a "safe" way to grow. Sure, you can grow like this and never have any problems and you will end up with plants that were not stressed in any way. Again, to each his/her own, but I sure would believe the people who made the nutrients over a youtube video... just sayin

I hear this a lot and every time, alarm bells go off.

Are you adjusting your pH AFTER you add nutes or before?
By the way, I always ran FF nutes at full strength because I wanted big plants. To each his/her own I guess.

I used to ph before and After but I couldnt tell the difference afterwards because the nutrients made it hard to tell.

I dont use a digital thermometer or w/e
So meausuring the right amount of ph down and up gets confusing when you cant see the water clearly.

Im basically looking for minimal results.

I dont care how big my yield is. Im growing for me.

So as long as Im not killing my plants, im good with whatever happens

Then you really are not checking the pH and you are going to keep getting the results that you are getting. Trying to grow with synthetic nutrients without a digital pH meter is just asking for trouble. Since you are good with whatever happens short of killing your plants... we are done here. You have asked what is wrong and I have answered you. There is no magic beyond this. My recommendation, break down and buy a $50 pH pen.

You’ve got sound advice above. If I could throw in my opinion it would be don’t water every “x” amount of days. Let your plant tell you when they are ready.

make sure you let your tap water sit minimum of 24hrs to let the chlorine evaporate out

Good luck.

I only have 3 grows under the belt and feed my plants using a decent EC pen to set my total ppm's and a decent PH pen to set my final PH.......I also set my water temperature as summer its too hot and winter too cold. No water gets into my garden without being spot on on all three aspects....EC, PH and water temp. I dictate my EC as per what my plants needs within the grow cycle.......PH, I stick religiously to industry norms for whatever gro media I am using......slightly higher during flower.
In my opinion, without EC, PH and a thermometer..........its a crap shoot.
