Do you give Sativas shorter veg time?

Quick question - do you give sativas shorter veg because of the longer flower time and bigger stretch?

only grown indica dominant strains so far indoors with around 6 weeks veg from germination (9plants in 5x5 tent) and want to start some Amnesia haze seeds ready to move into flower room but unsure on when to start them. Thanks everyone.

Im currently in the process of growing my first sativa as well. From what I've researched on the internet veg time is up to you & it depends upon what your grow space size is. The longer u veg a sativa the bigger it's going to get. I'm in my second week of veg with my sour Jack plants and I'm gonna veg a minimum of 4-5 weeks of course but if growth doesn't get to out of control I want to go 6-8 weeks .Keep in mind that whatever size your plant is when u end veg that it's going to double in size or more once it hits that flowering stretch

at the moment i do 9 indica dominants topped in 5gallon pots for around 6 weeks veg and the tent is packed out, maybe do 4 weeks and see how it goes, i no its trial error but no harm in asking haha thanks mate
