Hmm...Caterpiller? If it is, it'll be alive in your buds as they cure unless you kill them. I'm lazy, and find the easiest way (if I'm already harvesting) is to dunk the buds longer when washing. I hold the branches/colas completely underwater for 30-60 seconds, and watch as they drown and start to float up to the top. Sucks, but you'll still be able to use the material if you're creative!Ok so that was actually exactly what I did lol.
An so i got some good news bad news thing going on. I jus noticed on my Zkittles auto that i mite have slight bud rot. i noticed alil fuzz on the side of one of the buds. So i started spreading all the big buds apart slightly looking on the insides of the colas to see if i found any bud rot. An i think i caught it soon enough. But i found these lil brownish tan shavings it looked like wen i looked threw the loup. But do u guys know what this is? I at first thought buds but dnt see any anywhere so then thought maybe jus from the ground or fan maybe blew some shit on it. But then i found tht lil fuzz so it had me panic an now im harvesting my crop at 3 am lmao. Here is those shaving things i found on the buds.
Ok thanx much appreciated brother. Now im off to harvest some buds and do alil bud washing lol.
That said, please don't chance smoking buds with botrytis--use those ones for cooking, or salve, or whatever. Oh! and adding the 4th (1st?) bucket of h202 to your wash routine should help stop any new rot sites from starting as they cure.
