Doc, May I chime in with another question as it seems that you are the man in the G8 world.
Just ordered 2 of the 240 watt veg/flower lights. I will be using them for vegging seedlings and clones to the teenager size before moving to a greenhouse. From what I gathered from the Dorm Grow site this might be a less stressful change them from HPS or CFL lighting which I currently use both of.
Also want to add light to a light dep greenhouse to make up for the shading of the hill in the early and late season as we going to try for 3 rounds this year. Just need more light early and late. Starting mid Feb. Have done this grow the past 3 years and it works great. First year for light dep.
