Does anyone else get sick?

Something else which may help is adding some CBD into the mix. Perhaps an oil capsule or other method of ingestion. I hope things have improved.

Hi Higher, I don't have this but a friend told me about his symptoms a month or two ago and they seem similar. He can't figure it out either. He's a Viet Nam vet and is leaning on agent orange and other war related things to be the culprit not having other answers. Have you traveled to V.N. in the 70"s?

Hay stone otter, yea I was in country from 68-72 mostly during 69-70 attached to Marine helicopter squadron and they were spraying that shit to kill the jungle vegetation. Luckily I came thru it ok over 40 years now without any effect from agent orange that I can remember or see. Growers luv
Hi Bud, cheers that you dodged that one. You guys were exposed to too much there. He believes he has a couple of other cancers from exposure too. I'm glad to hear you're doing well in that area my friend.

For some reason I was not getting notifications for this thread so sorry for not replying to those who messaged me.

So since this post I have still been ill, if anything I have been getting worse but I have smoked different strains since, none citrus strains and if I'm honest it doesn't affect me as much now when I smoke, I have just picked some Blue Cheese up and it's strong citrusy smell so if it happens this time around I should know for sure, nothing like testing lol.

Your friend, and millions of others get cancer and they never went to war. Would he have gotten it anyway ?
Who knows, sounds like he needs a scapegoat but it can’t change the facts cancer is our worst nightmare and the cure is as bad if not worse then the cancer itself. Personal experience talkin
I guess I could blame the military or to much red meat or anything in between. Doesn't change
The facts. He should b focusing on fighting this shit not on who to blame. I went thru that, it chewed
Me up for awhile I call it the ( WHY ME ) syndrome.

Yeah, we don't know for sure. I'm more bitter than he is with the overall situation and I'm not a vet. Thanks for your service Bud.

Keep paying attention. One day you will figure it out.

Do you have any joint pain, tiredness, tingling in arms or legs? Headaches, stiff neck? Ever have a rash that looks like a bullseye? Lyme disease can go undetected. Just throwing this out there. Hope you get better soon
It's interesting you brought this up. My uncle is a wilderness type so he's very prone to ticks. 2 years ago he got really sick and couldn't figure it out. After almost a year of just being under the weather and hard headed to get checked out he finally went. Culprit was a tick bite on the back side of his armpit. Right out of his sight. He had no idea it was there months on end.

I am truly sorry for what ails you. 1st I would suggest that you add a hi grade medicinal cannabis oil like a FECO. Figure out a good dosage starting very small like a dose the size of a grain of rice and work from there. Also go to the internet and find the Wholetones healing project by Michael Tyrell. Buy the 7 disc set. I swear by it. Next go to a bookstore and buy The Sacred Science by Nick Polizzi. Both of these fine healers also have blogs and email circles that can really help in healing oneself. You should also find a local Reiki healing circle close to you and ask for healing help. On that note you have been added to a global healing circleby me just moments ago. Our circle has over 6000 Masters in it now plus the rest of us. You have been added to the 24/7 circle permanently. That means a minimum of 24 of us will be sending you and your loved ones warm, caring healing energies around the clock. You will always have 2 or 3 Masters healing as well starting a minute ago. Can you feel us in your solar plexus? A slight tingle of warmth.
You are strong. Stronger than you know and will overcome your tribulations in time. Now get that oil and learn how to use it for your benefit asap. And please continue what you began with the Western Medicine Doctors. They can occassionally be helpful in this kind of issue.

I really hope you feel better.

I’m also a Reiki Master. I too will also send distant healing. I agree with the thinking best to abstain from it for awhile so what happens....

Hang in there... keep us posted ♥️

Hello all :).

So I'm currently under going a long term illness of nearly 9 years and counting and still no doctor or specialist has no idea what's going on with me, one day I woke up and started being sick, then a month later it was all day everyday and has been the same since, in had the camera down and they ended up harming the the skin in my throat making me even more prone to gag, so imagine going from being sick 1-2 times a day to upwards of 50, not being able to go out or even involve my self with people, this then overtime causing me to get serious depression and anxiety, I have my good days, my bad days and if noticed my whole personality change at least 5 times which sometimes generally gets to me that much I end up over thinking things and at times I put my self in some real bad places, but as I write this now I feel a tad better that people can then understand that everyone's condition. Is different as well as really unusual.

So do people get physically sick from smoking, not the sickness you would get from the psychoactive side of cannabis but just from actually smoking, I mean I don't grow the strongest weed in the world where would make me physically incompetent to be motivational but I'm genuinely thinking of running 8 week strains upwards of 11+ weeks so the affects just completely wipe me out and therefore if I'm asleep in then not being sick giving my body a break.

So I smoke 3-6 0.5-2g joints per day (only bud no tobacco) but lately I've been smoking to the point where it's not taking away the pain and just in general the bud is actually making me worse, I've even questioned is it something I'm doing wrong when I'm growing but I'm growing 90% organically now with only Plagron Green Sensation as it's a 4 in 1, even tried different drying techniques.

So does your body ever react in a bad way or is it just me?

I watched a podcast with Wiz Khalifa last night and he was saying he can get physically sick of he doesn't smoke his own strain daily and he has no illnesses that are known publicly that we know of and people have stated it's not addictive but after a while your body physically needs it on a day to day, I'm pretty sure I never got sick when I smoked Northern Lights but I simply can't quite remember.

I'm currently on a break from smoking and have been for around a month now, unfortunately I'm now back on tablets or as I like to call compressed chalk as they never seem to work.

Any info or life stories of similar is love to hear from you.

Stay happy and healthy everyone, or at least try!
Cannabis Hermese syndrone¿? I had it!! Had to quit a few days and cut way back. When I over smoke, it flares up in the morning and a hot shower is the only relief of nausea! Hope this helped.

I wonder if switching to non smoking consumption would be effective? Edibles, sublingual, suppositories, etc?
My wife cannot smoke but loves infused olive oil and putting decarb in capsules.
Best wishes

Odds are virtually all of this Hyperemesis Syndrome is coming from Azamax and if the bud you consume has Azamax in it I wouldn't think it would make much difference if you smoke it or eat it.

But that's just that dispensary weed contaminated with Azamax.

As far as "effective" it should be more effective for edibles

Since around 2010-11 i started being sick, literally filtered everything from foods I eat to the drinks and I simply can't find what it is, the doctors and specialists are hugely stumped and I'm getting another specialist coming from outside of the country specially to see what's even going on, had the camera down and they actually made it worse.

But I only started smoking cannabis in 2014-15 but very small amounts maybe 1-4g per week as at the time but stopped after a few months, then I started growing my own from 2016 and that's when I found that when I was consuming more bud it was then making me worse which made me question my whole growing to where I was thinking is it the nutrients left in or somewhat along those lines.

I'm not currently growing Northern Lights but I am planning a hydro grow so that I can keep a cleaner grow.

No one in my family has anything like what I have, even docs have never seen it in anyone, I can drink 100ml of water and being up 500ml of sick, if been on so many drips due to not being able to get anything down.

Well, my two cents for what it's worth is if you started getting sick in 2011-12 but didn't start smoking the cannabis until 2014-15 then I doubt they're related. Smoking might make you feel worse just because of whatever it is you have.

I would suggest being tested for allergies (food, environmental and metal toxicity). There are places you can send a hair or saliva sample to to do this. Here is the one that was recommended to me:

Saliva Testing

I hope you figure it out. It sucks being sick and no one knowing why.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm these days. I had a cough for 3 years that I had to hound my doctor to find a resolution for me. He was totally useless. It turned out to be a side effect from a medication that I had been taking for 7 years with no cough so no one suspected that. It's practically up to us to research and get our own diagnoses these days and it sucks.

Okay, vent over.

Same here HashGirl. Lisinopril almost killed me.

Glad it didn't, stoneotter.

And, I think that's a lot of the reason that more and more people are turning to cannabis for their health. It's about learning what is and isn't good for your body and generally speaking, I believe cannabis is good for my body. I prefer not to vape or smoke but I do do both when I just want a quick hit of something but usually take all my oil in capsules. And, I have absolutely zero regrets about ingesting so much cannabis. When I had my 3-year cough, the only thing that worked at all was Tylenol with codeine but it only lasted 2 hours so I was taking tons of it and I also have rheumatoid autoimmune disease, osteoarthritis, costochondritis and tendonitis so I was taking ibuprofen and other scary drugs for them (and other than the ibuprofen, I'm still taking the other scary drugs but I choose not to think about what they might do to me and focus on what they enable me to do [like lead an active life]) but I cut out the ibuprofen and replaced it with cannabis and life is much better now and it's so cool learning about different strains and different uses and all other cannabis-related stuff. I'm looking forward to doing more learning about cannabis when I retire in 69 more working days. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Sorry, I'm rambling but I'm starting to feel the 9 AK-47 capsules I took about 1.25 hours ago. :battingeyelashes:

First, congratulations for the 69 day short time left to conventional work! That major milestone in itself calmed me down a little the day I made it 2 years ago. I'm like you with multiple ails and I stopped taking over the counter nsaids due to the full body rash from tylenol I got from the years of max dose of all of them, separately of course. Cannabis is good for me too. I'm doing much better since it's in my life! Haha ramble on!

Thanks for the replies everyone, trust me when I say this in trying my best and most hardest to try and understand why it's happeneing, I did however stopped abusing smoking, now when I say abusing I was smoking bud that was chopped maybe a little too early so the affects were not as great so having to power through loads of joints to suffer the pain, problem is now in smoking better bud I grew and learnt not to cut that extra week short it's a little better but I take codeine and I have been reading that the opioids they have in them apparently can stop cannabis affects, I do still have loads of research to still do though.

It's funny you should mention edibles, they have been a pain in my backside this year  I made loads of butter out my harvest, came back to the fridge and it was all mould after 2-3 weeks, then I recently bought an oz from a friend and converted it to coconut oil and mixed the jelly mix wrong and it curdled, ever since that day 4 weeks or so back I have not smoked or consumed cannabis, had a few hissy fits that day too .

Edibles did sort of work but if I'm honest in still being sick so it's nothing to do with cannabis but that spint of abusing it did make me I'll die to my own fault like I said, I do want to make more edibles and other sorts though.

From February I'm planning on buying some lab equipment, everything I need to create RSO and other concentrates, I will be making one part of the house into a clean room of sorts, looked into the costs of the equipment and necessities I need and it will take around a year to fully complete but research and me learning will take far longer to learn.
