Does anyone use vinegar for pH down?

I have been using vinegar for a few weeks now without problems and was just wondering if anyone else had tried it and noticed any adverse effects.

Ya same here my tap waters about 7.4 so less then 2 mls drops a L to 6.5 for me

My water is around 8.3 from the tap. Takes 10 drops of ph downdraft per gallon. Brings it down to 6.25

Vinegar is a good idea. Always go with drops of lemon juice myself.

That's a good idea hadn't thought about that before

It you want something for pH up I would suggest potassium bicarbonate instead of baking soda. They sell it at beer and wine making stores. It is useable by the plant, whereas baking soda is just going to give you extra salts.

Ph down with Apple Cider Vinegar, lotsa good natural stuff in there,
Ph Up with a Silicate additive, something the plant needs.
