Does soap, neem and other things wash off or change taste?

So many of us use phytherium, soap, neem oil, garlic, peppers, rosemary and other things to treat fungus and/or to treat pest problems.

What are the effects on taste?

I am especially curious about the soap and neem as they are what I have been using.

Do they just biodegrade eventually and have no effect on the taste by the time the buds are cured and dried?

First hand experience with any natural pesticides on the effects of smell and taste is appreciated. As much details as possible appreciated too!

Yes they will wash off easily. The biggest mistake growers do when using them is hitting the plants too hard and suffocating the plant. Just light doses 3 or 4 days in a row will take care of the critters.

Yes ... and no.

It depends when you have to treat. If no buds are formed you will be able to treat with no flavor change... but if you have to treat in the bud phase it can change the taste ... rosemary is an awful taste!!

What was/is attacking your plants? Lady bugs eat a lot of little critters and you can get a pile of them at the grow store. If you sprayed them and they still have a while to go you might get lucky and they will have no extra flavors ... and you can hit them with lady bugs
