I have been growin since 1970 both cannabis and vegetables I've grown with Miracle grow for tomatoes, Fox Farms, Canna for coco and now Mega Crop. I don't grow scientifically I grow by feel. Sure I read the labels and get an idea then I adjust to what the plants are telling me. Growing in soil was challenging for me because I had a tendency to overwater. My best growin soil was 1 gram per watt under 600w of led. Since switching to COB led's and Coco Coir I have had much better results still 600w but coco coir as the medium for feeding every watering ( you can't over water in coco ) My first three grows in coco were done with Canna A&B nutrients and I got fantastic results 4 pounds from 8 plants and two grows of 3 pounds from 6 plants. i'm not bragging ( well maybe a little) but I have a cupboard full of bud. I'm 70 years old and have been somkin weed for 50 years and I have no plans to quit any time soon
My latest grow
Room is 7ft x 9ft x 8ft grow space is 4ft x 5ft
Light is a 12 cob DIY fixture with 8 ea 3500K cobs and 4 ea 4000K cobs that can be switched for 4 ea 1700K cobs
Ventilation is a 6" vortex fan with passive induction
odor control is done with an Ozone generator
Grow style is drain to waste
Nutrients are Mega Crop

What are the drip rings your using ? Are they just a hose or plastic tube with holes in them? I have been wanting to make some drip rings for a couple years I hate using the T's I have been using now just never had time until now. Looking for new ideas. Awesome grow setup you have there.

Thanks CO I've been using this drip system for the last three grows They are just some 1/2" blue tube from HD with holes drilled in them they work well I think I could drill bigger holes and ope the valves more but until I can do a test this will work It's a gravity fed system with the tank at 6 foot

Outstanding thank you very much for the info and pic I really appreciate that. I use a slit to two 1/4" 9 hose regulators mine is pump powered only option for me just would like to get that even flow from the rings like your pic shows.

Thanks CO when I set out to design the system my thought was I wanted a system that would not clog so I stayed away from the small feed lines I thought about using halos but they were too expensive but they did inspire me to think of just drilling some holes in the 1/2" tube having been a plumber for several years I knew that 1/2" pipe would work for 3 plants and provide plenty of volume
Happy, happy ladies! Well done. I'm doing my first MC grow, and I think you need to be tuned to your plants. I'm 73 and smoked my first splif in 1964.
