Hi All, it got a little confusing mixing my last grow up with this one so I decided to start this over. Check out the results of the Sensi Seeds Shiva Skunk (Link in my signature). I highly recommend that stain to everyone. Low odor, Super easy to grow, awesome yield, and some of the best smoke I've ever had.

This grow is all about the OGRascal White Fire (WiFi). I gave my friend one of my plants and he decided he didn't want it. So, I ditched the WOS obsession freebie and am now back on track for the 2 White fore seedlings! This (WiFi) is the strongest nighttime meds I've ever tried, but I bought it at the Farmers Market and have never seen the guy or the strain back since. I'm jhoping this is the origin of his so called white fire because that stuff is the best insomnia medicine I've ever tried. I ponied up the cash and bought a 7 pack of Fems. Sprouted 2 for 2 so here we go.

Sprout day: 12/18/2013
Flower day: 03/01/2014

Strain: White Fire aka WiFi

Type: Hybrid 50% Sativa 50% Indica

Stage: Veg – germinated on 12/18/2013

Environment: Indoor stealth closet grow

Medium: Organic Soil

Soil Mix: 2.5 cu ft Organic bag soil + 1 cu ft Worm Castings + ½ cu ft perlite + 1 cup per cu ft each of Dolomite Lime, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal and Azomite + 2 cups per cu ft Kelp Meal. For germinating seeds I use an Organic bag seed and clone mix. (Not sure if naming brands is ok).

Pot size: 4” for seeds and clones. Transplant to 1 gal then to their resting place in 5 gallon smart pots (I think they’re called). They are made of some type of material and seem to work well for me.

Lighting: 1x 200 watt LED (actual draw 150) + 1x 400 watt LED (actual draw 370 with UVB side lighting turned on) + 1x 42 watt CFL + 3x 22 watt T5s. The LEDs have cooling fans in them.

Cabinet Temp: Lights off 60 – 65 degrees. Lights on 73 – 80

Cabinet Size: 2’ deep x 3’ wide x 7’ high

Humidity: 40 – 65

PH: Soil stays around 6.8. I adjust water to 6.2 – 6.5 after adding ferts

Pests: None so far

Watering: As needed. I use a soil moisture detector to judge when the plants should be watered

Ferts: Liquid bat guano, liquid kelp, Epsom salt, liquid fish, Humeric acid, Cal-Mag, Molasses

Germination method: Soaked in a glass of water overnight then planted thumbnail deep in soil. They sprouted in 2 and 5 days respectively. The big one was first the small one came up a few days later

I veg in a 18”x 33”x37” Grow box with a SunBlaze 2’ 4 bulb light and a couple CFLs. I have a Small Can Lite charcoal filter and inline fan in the veg box. I also have a 9” fan to move the air. It stays between 70 and 80 year round. I can bump the temp by adjusting the inline fan speed. Pretty sweet actually and a definite bonus I wasn’t expecting

I flower in a 2’x3’x7’ converted storage cabinet. I bought it pre made. I have replaced the crappy 70 watt UFO LEDs with some newer 5 watt diode LEDs. I’m running 628 actual watts in the flower cab. That is 104 watts per square ft. I would be happy to harvest .5 Grams per watt, and with your help maybe more

Hi VonDank,

Thanks for the support!

I have a 7' cabinet but only about 6' usable feet. These lights are super bright for the area (100 true watts per Sq/ft), so I'm trying to keep them a full 2' above the canopy by super-cropping. I fear I will not be able to control it LOL. It's already going crazy.

Hi MKrop,

They are already stretching like crazy. I'm totally looking to super-crop and tie her down if necessary. I'll post a couple pics of some Super-cropping I did. So far they are very healthy and I'm grateful for that. Appreciate the support!!!

Hi All,

The plants are doing very well. One better than the other. Lights are on and just took some pics. I have to say that so far they are very easy to grow. Soil's at 7.0 PH and I gave them their first top dressing of Sea Bird Guano (Bloom). I'm feeding with 1 TBS Molasses and 1/4 tsp Orca for a nice healthy act. Letting it brew between 24 - 48 hours. The stems are pretty average for my setup. The last grow (Shiva Skunk) was a tree where plant meets ground so I'm hoping yield will still be OK on this one but very low expectations here.

One of the plants has hollow stems and is virtually impossible for me to supercrop (limited experience here). I did it anyways a bunch of times and I just support every SC site with duck tape till it repairs. The other plant is short and I haven't super-cropped her at all. I'm trying to get an even canopy.

Update: Week 3

Oh my, Oh my,

So far so GREAT and I'm holding my breath I don't screw something up. These plants ARE the healthiest I've grown so far. This is week 3 of 12/12. I never had these little buds like this before at 3 weeks.

I chopped all the lower stuff and removed a bunch of fan leaves. Check out that super crop. Light is getting through the canopy very well. The canopy is very even.

Here's a couple pics:

Day 27 Flower - AMAZING!

This is the WiFi at day 27 Flower. I am super glad that I read up on organics before starting this grow. Also can't understate the importance of good PH in soil and water. I've learned a lot and have so much to learn.

This go round has been all straight water with 1 TBS Molasses and 1/8 tsp Great White "Orca" (micro-enzyme) per gallon. I let that bubble fro 24-36 hours before using it. It's easy for me because I only grow 2 plants at a time.

At the start of week 3 I top dressed them with 1 TBS Seabird guano (Bloom formula 0-15-0). I'm feeding from the top and the bottom. 1/2 gallon from the top and a 1/2 gallon from the bottom. I've been calibrating my PH pen weekly. I PH the micro-brew to 6.2-6.5.

This is day 27 of 24/24 and every leaf is healthy and beautiful. the buds are bigger than my last grow at 5 weeks so something is going right.

UPDATE - Day 31 of 12/12

I know it's only been 4 days since my last post but I'm getting a little panicky and could use some help. A few of the leaves on the Taller plant are starting to turn color on me and I'm wondering if this is normal or some type of deficiency? I screwed up my last grow and had to pull it early due to not knowing I needed to calibrate my PH meter. I do that weekly now so I know the PH is right. Now I'm concerned that there is a deficiency but also know plants do start to yellow toward the end of flowering. these are only 1/2 way through and it's only happening to one plant (same strain, soil, feeding, environment etc...). I might be overreacting too.

Other than that, both plants look wonderful.

If anyone has some advice for me, I'd be grateful!

WiFI - Week 7 Update

Hi all,

Not much interest in this grow so I'll keep it short. Any Q's just ask.

I never got any replies or help for my deficiency problems so i just kind of guessed. It's still not doing well at all, (the Fire OG pheno) but Oh well. I added 1 tsp top dress Epsom Salts and 1 tsp Cal-Mag per gallon for the last two waterings (thinking OGs love the Calmag). I don't think it helped but the plant is still only 7.5 weeks so I'm letting it go.

Good looking grow, I'm a novice so I'm unsure of the root of the discoloration. Did the calmag clear things up? How many fan leaves are showing discoloration?

The weird thing is it's only happening to the Fire OG pheno. The white pheno is perfectly healthy. I've been reading up on the OGs and a lot of growers supplement Cal-Mag through the entire grow. the OG strains apparently have a greater need for it. I also found some info that refers to LED lights requiring higher or more frequent doses of Cal-Mag. Because of this info, I have started a Cal-Mag regiment on the OG pheno. I won't know if it's working for a couple days.

@ VonDank -- Thanks Mr. Dank. Coincidentally, I went on the Tude for their 420 Promo and picked up some "Dank" Mousetrap and Dawg Fighter. Looking forward to the Mousetrap (UK Exodus Cheese x Star Fighter OG). Been looking for a good Cheese. This might be the one :)

@Pan -- Thanks Pan, I hope you get those PH issues ironed out. They really messed me up my first 3 grows. I was trying to deal with nutrient deficiencies and the whole time I was making things worse by addressing problems that were caused by Low PH. I calibrate the PH meter every week religiously now.

@GC -- I'm definitely thinking the same thing. thanks for chiming in. I Really appreciate it.

@Tamir -- Every shade leaf is yellow and dying. Most of the little leaves sticking out of the buds also show major discoloration. This didn't start at the bottom of the plant like normal yellowing would. It hit the whole plant at the same time.

Harvets Pics -- Dr. Cannabi's - White Fire - 9 Weeks

Howdy all,

I had to chop the ladies early due to unforeseen circumstances. They were at exactly 9 weeks of 12x12 when I chopped them Saturday May 3rd. I had no choice.

The trichomes were 50/50 cloudy/clear. For me this is way too early. They could have gone another 1 to 2 weeks easy. There was not an amber trich in site. The smell while chopping is nothing to write home about. There is some lemon fuel but nothing extraordinary. There's more rubber and meat smell than anything. That's pretty much how I remember it. Tastes and Smells like poop, but the high is AMAZING!!! I'll post a smoke report after a proper cure and I have a chance to try her out.

That said, these ladies are as frosty as anything I've ever seen. They sparkle in the smallest light. They were also a dream to manicure. I've grown strains (Shiva Skunk) that claim to be easy to manicure but are not! OGR makes no claim that WiFi is easy to manicure but it is! So there you go...

I'm getting the stink eye from Mrs. DrCannabi so I'm going to bale. Here's the pics...

@Tamir, I might have been premature with my initial assessment. The flavor has really improved with just a 12 day cure. I might even say it's weirdly addicting . I can absolutely say that it is WAY better than the WiFi I bought at the dispensary. Somehow even at 9 weeks this stuff is coma city . I use edibles mainly and I have a very high tolerance. Two hits off a pipe of the WiFi and I'm seriously impaired. I'm talking drooling on my shirt missed the second half of the game impaired.

I think after a good 30 day cure this will actually taste delicious. I think I've just never tried anything that smelled or taste quite like this and it initially turned me off. After a few intimate sessions with her I can definitely see that there is a chance for true love here. Highly recommended.
