Hi friends and neighbors. This is going to be a Serious Seeds White Russian grow journal. As always, I'm constantly trying to find the easiest methods with the least work and best results possible. By results I mean quality of the medicine. Please join in and ask any questions you'd like. Suggestions are always welcome. Everyone is welcome here! :Namaste:

The things I'll try to explain in detail at various times throughout the journal are "my" methods for using recycled soil and amending it to create a Soil Food Web (SFW). Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and the use of Actively Aerated Compost Teas (AACT).

Here's the startup info:

What strain is it? White Russian

Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? Hybrid - What percentages? IDK

Is it in Veg or Flower stage? Flower for 5 days

Indoor or outdoor? Indoor (5x5 Gorilla Grow Tent)

Soil or Hydro? Organic Living Soil (OLS)

What is in your mix? Previously used OLS per 20 Gallons I add 1 gallon Perlite, 1 gallon organic worm castings, 2 cups KIS Organics Nutrient pack, and 2/3 cup diatomaceous earth (DE)

What size pot? 7 gallon fabric Ecopots

Size of light? 1 Budmaster 1200, 1 California Light Works (CLW) Solar Flare 200, and 1 CLW Solar Flame 400 (1200 True watts)

Is it aircooled? They all have built in fans

Temp of Room/cab? 55-60 lights off, 70-80 Lights on

RH of Room/cab? anywhere from 40 to 80

PH of media or res? 6.9

Any Pests ? No

How often are you watering? 1 Gallon per pot every other day

Type and strength of ferts used? I don't use any ferts. Plain RO water, AACT teas, and a foliar regimen

I gave my buddy a pack of Serious Seeds White Russian and this was the best of the bunch. I received a clone in a 1 gallon plastic pot a couple weeks ago and it was in pretty rough shape. I quarantined it and up-potted it to it's final 7 gallon container. It is very healthy now and it's been placed in my flower tent along side 1x Strawberries and Cream (CSG), 1x The White (CSG), and 1x Lost Coast OG (Humboldt Seeds).

Pics to follow. Join in for the ride, there's a lot of seats available :circle-of-love::love::circle-of-love:

Hi Stew!

Welcome to my journal. I'll stop by your thread very soon. Uploading pics right now. If you put a link to your journal in your signature it makes it really easy for people to get there. At the upper right corner there is a link called settings, click that and then click setting again. That will get you to the page where you can create an avatar and edit your sig and all sorts of cool stuff. :thumb:

Looks good how many watts are your veg lights and your flower wattage I'm using 300 and want to kno if two plants under this is cool?

My first grow was using 2 90 watt UFOs. I got a couple ounces. A lot of people grow with 400 watts (HPS/HID) and turn in stellar results. 300 watts of LED is more than enough to grow some killer buds. So yes, 300 watts is great place to start. Once you get the bug, be careful, you'll be buying lights left and right lol. :high-five:

My flower tent is 1200 real watts of LED. The veg cab is an 85 watt CFL and a 90 watt UFO. That's almost perfect for vegging in a 2x3 cabinet! :volcano-smiley:

Ok sounds like fun haha I'm trying to get a second stealth project for a veg area but with the stealth dresser I have I think may be good for 2 autos with Scrog method. I have the visual in my head just not all of the knowledge to achieve it fully so I became a member to get advice from great growers like yourself

re: Drcannabi's - White Russian - Recycled Organic Soil - LED - Teas & Foliar

Hello dr. Good to see you back in action. Liked seeing all your ingredients. Lots of parallels going on between us. That KIS mix you recommended earlier looks great....I have all its ingredients except for the neem & karanja. Like you said much easier than mixing it all myself. A couple of yrs. ago I tried Veganic Special Sauce by OG Tea & still using it. No brew tea...works very well & recently learned it's become very popular around these parts. Much easier than brewing & cleaning brewer for small indoor batches. I still brew for outdoors. Still also using microbe products by Ecological Labs, which are all amazingly effective. Never thought I'd find any equivalent but VSS is up there with EL.

Thanks for the invite Doc. Wouldn't miss this for the world. A great strain, and a great grower. Sounds like a good match to me.

Thanks everybody for signing up. I'm out of town taking care of the mother in law. As soon as I get home, I'll respond to your individual posts and give an update. Another reason soil rocks, I can leave for a few days and the plants will be just fine.

:peace: and
